Arizona May Turn Out the Lights on La-La Land Moonbats

Maybe the boycotts sparked by supporters of completely unrestricted illegal immigration are a serious matter after all. When Los Angeles — whose mayor once headed a chapter of the ultra-radical Reconquistador outfit MEChA — sanctimoniously declared a boycott of Arizona, it forgot where its power comes from:
An Arizona utility commissioner said he's willing to pull the plug on Los Angeles if the city goes through with a boycott of his state. … LA gets about 25 percent of its power from Arizona.
From the letter Arizona Corporation Commission member Gary Pierce sent to LA's slimy Mayor Villaraigosa:
If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation.
I am confident that Arizona's utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands. If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona's economy.

LA's Reconquistador in Chief responded with the usual bluster and preposterous duckspeak about "civil rights." Chances are that like Eric Holder, Janet "Uncle Mort" Napolitano, Foggy Bottom's P.J. Creepy-Crowley, and other leftists who have denounced the law, he hasn't even read it — since there is nothing in the bill that anyone even half-heartedly pretending to be reasonable could object to.
The moonbats running San Diego have learned that they need Arizona a whole lot more than Arizona needs them. It will be wonderful if Los Angeles discovers the same. If only we could also cut off the flow off our money, "spread around" by the federal government to provide free services to the hordes of non-taxpaying criminal aliens who have reduced Los Angeles to a gigantic welfare state chancre.
