San Francisco Declares War on Arizona
Posted by Dave Blount at April 27, 2010 10:41 AM
Turning their own city into a stinking cesspool bubbling over with moonbat depravity isn't enough for the liberal weenies running San Franfreakshow into the ground. They have decided they should have jurisdiction over Arizona too:
San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera on Monday called for a sweeping boycott of the state of Arizona and Arizona-based businesses.
Herrera, himself the son an immigrant from Latin America, called the law "draconian" and released the following statement upon announcing the push for a boycott:
Just as it did two decades ago when it refused to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Arizona has again chosen to isolate itself from the rest of the nation. Our most appropriate response is to assure that their isolation is tangible rather than merely symbolic. San Francisco should lead the way in adopting and aggressively pursuing a sweeping boycott of Arizona and Arizona-based businesses until this unjust law is repealed or invalidated. My office is fully committed to work with San Francisco city departments and commissions to identify all applicable contracts, and to pursue termination wherever possible. And my office stands ready to assist in any legal challenges in whatever way it can [using taxpayer money].
By the way, we also refuse to move our clocks around for Daylight Savings. I love this place.
Hysterical liberal race-baiting aside, the law isn't the least "draconian." It simply allows the state to pick up the ball that was deliberately dropped by the quislings in Washington, who intend to demographically deform our country in their favor by importing tens of millions of Third World peasants, the vast majority of whom will be net recipients of Big Government largesse and will therefore reliably vote for Democrats.
But liberals, with their great love of centralized autocracy, can't be blamed for not liking our new law. If the feds won't fulfill government's most basic obligation by defending us from foreign invasion, but the states will, what do we need Washington for? Why are we allowing the useless, parasitical vermin in the District of Criminals to consume half of our wealth when they do next to nothing for us in return? Isn't the federal government pretty much the same thing as one of those facehuggers in Alien, with illegal aliens being the eggs it is planting inside us to eat us alive from within? Nothing that gets people asking these questions is going to be much help to the progressive agenda.

On tips from Incitatus and Travis.
Update:
For a dose of countermoonbattery, check out the comments on the local NBC article cited above. Virtually every one sides with Arizona against illegal Reconquistadors and the governmedia quislings who support them.
