Heteronormativity = Racism

If you're heading out to a Tea Party, whatever you do, don't show any pride in not being a sexual pervert, because that would be racist — or so we're told:
LANSING — State and national organizations who represent the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community are expressing outrage over t-shirts bearing the slogan "Straight Pride" offered for sale at a Saturday rally of the Tea Party Express. …
Gay advocacy groups say the shirts are reminiscent of the "white pride" slogan adopted by racist groups who oppose equality.
"It's like white supremacy," says Penny Gardner, president of the Lansing Association for Human Rights, a Lansing area lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights group. "It's as if they are saying the idea of supremacy is some how the American way. The American way is about equality, and equality is all we're looking for."
Equality means you can take pride in being depraved, but not in not being depraved. Rea Carey of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force explains:
"'LGBT Pride' has long been an inspiring, powerful and celebratory rallying call, and its appeal is obvious. But this doesn't appear to be a case of imitation is the highest form of flattery. Instead, it's veiled homophobia in action, and peddling homophobia and profiting from it are both immoral and unacceptable."
Sure, the appeal is obvious. As for the normal people who participate in Tea Parties, according to David Holtz of Progress Michigan,
"They are working very hard at being a fringe group, and succeeding."
Daryl Presgaves of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the perverted moonbat cult founded by Comrade Obama's pedophile Safe Schools Czar, participated in the bullying of anyone who would dare take pride in not being abnormal by proclaiming:
"It's sad and troubling that some parents instill values of exclusion and teach their children to disrespect and bully those who are different from them."
In other words, we've got a great big stick called political correctness, so you'd better shut up and lay low or we'll hit you again. You bully.
