WaPo: Gay Marriage Advocates Are Like the Founding Fathers

Yeah, I can totally see the comparison between fighting for independence and self-determination and fighting for social benefits and winning an "in-yer-face" to the Christian Right.

OK, I don't really.

(Washington Post Reporter Robert) McCartney described one of the (gay marriage militants), 84-year-old Frank Kameny, as the "founding father of the gay rights movement, at the level of a Thomas Jefferson or John Adams."

Typical leftist. Anyone who disagrees with them in a Nazi and anyone who agrees in a founding father, or possibly Jesus.

While gay yuppies and their leftist friends celebrate DC's gay marriage law, the children and the poor suffer. Because the militants on the city council refused to exempt churches and faith-based organization from the ordinance, the Catholic Church will no longer be able to operate charities within the city.

But, who cares about a bunch of kids and homeless people as long as leftist elites get their "in yer face."
