Representative Steve King (R-Iowa) encouraged Tea Party patriots to seek a "Velvet Revolution" against the Soviet-style governing practices of the Obamacrat majority. In other words, he encouraged them to peacefully seek to turn back a Government that is out-of-touch with its people, that is governing by anti-democratic decree against the will of its people, and that is seeking a much expanded degree of control over the lives of its people.
Of course, King's encouragement to the people to peacefully take back their Government has given the simpering progressives at the HuffPo and the Obama Amen Corner a case of the vapors. I mean, how dare a Congresssmen -- a Republican no less -- encourage a free people to stand up against a government trying to pass a law that majorities of them oppose and believe to be destructive to the health of the country.
