On Airstrip One, 50-75% of Pakistani Marriages Are To First Cousins

Airstrip One's Immigrant populations bring their cultural norms with them, and this has created some problems with the gene pool.
British Pakistanis, half of whom marry a first cousin, are 13 times more likely to produce children with genetic disorders than the general population, according to Government-sponsored research.
Although British Pakistanis account for three per cent of the births in this country, they are responsible for 33 per cent of the 15 to 20,000 children born each year with genetic defects.
The article says that up to 75% of Pakistanis in some areas marry first cousins.
The progressive left is in no position to object to this, since cousin marriage is a common cultural practice in Middle Eastern societies; and anyone who objects to it is trying to inflict oppressive western cultural norms on people of colour.
Also, if it's fine for two men or two women to marry each other, what business does the state have telling people who they can and can't marry? Progressive marriage isn't about creating stable, healthy environments for children, that's the job of the state-run education system. Marriage is just about giving people access to social benefits. It would be discriminatory to deny those benefits to two consenting adults who happen to be biologically related.
