Tipping Point

This is the precise set of circumstances that has driven California and New York over the fiscal cliff: the state creates armies of public employees, with better pay and benefits than private sector workers, gold-plated pensions while driving private enterprise out of business with taxes and regulation. This situation is unsustainable, only an idiot would fail to see it. Unfortunately, the idiots are currently in power, and instead of fixing the problem, they are making it worse by raising taxes, expanding government, and punishing business with new health care and environmental mandates.
