Restoring Honor
Posted by The MaryHunter at January 25, 2010 9:42 AM
Are you more than a little fed up with public servants who go to Washington, swear on the Bible to uphold the Constitution of the United States, but then -- how shall we say it politely -- lose their way?
Mark your calendar for Saturday 28 August, 2010. Glenn Beck is coming to Washington, DC, for a grass-roots rally unlike any other: one aimed at restoring honor to our nation's capital.
On August 28, 2010 come be a part of history by joining Glenn at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial for the Restoring Honor Rally. This is a non-political fundraiser for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. This non-profit provides support and assistance to the families of wounded and fallen special operations personnel. Donate NowThis includes 60,000 of America's elite troops such as Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets and Rangers, Air force combat controllers and Marine Corps special operators.
This may be the last large gathering at the Lincoln Memorial ever allowed. Beck reported on air today that hotel accommodations are already limited for the date. Additional local housing could be available within Metro access in the Virginia and Maryland DC suburbs. Stay tuned to Beck for more info.
If you aren't sure you can make the event but if you still want to donate to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, go here. All procedes above the costs of the rally will go to the charity.
