Morning Briefs for Monday Item Number 2: OK, Now I feel sorry for teh Haitians

Opportunity always exists in the midst of crisis, and the tragic earthquake in Haiti is seen by many experts as the public image rehabilitation opportunity of a lifetime.
Shortly after revealing that he fathered a baby by a campaign aide while his wife was fighting cancer, typical Democrat John Edwards decided he was going to Haiti. You can expect thousands of rescue workers to be the target of a class action suit any day now. ("Sure, they pulled me from the rubble, but did they have to dislocate my shoulder?")
Scientologists are also on the ground in Haiti, but they will probably leave as soon as they figure out Haitians don't have any money.
