Moonbat Quote of the Day
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at January 12, 2010 9:19 AM
From the Proposition 8 Trial in California, wherein moonbats seek to (once again) overturn the expressed will of the people. One of the plaintiff whines about why the state needs to redefine marriage to suit her lifestyle choice.
The state isn't letting me feel happy. The state isn't allowing me to feel my whole potential.
If you think the only way you can be happy is if "the state" grants you a piece of paper signed by a bureaucrat that calls your relationship is a marriage, then you are a demented loon. The state exists, or ought to exist, only to perform a limited and defined range of functions individuals can not practically perform on their own. It does, or ought not, exist to cater to the need of loons to have their self esteem validated.
If you call yourself 'gay,' why aren't you happy?
