Interview with a Moonbat

Jonah Goldberg NRO excerpts a Denver Post interview with Colorado Socialist Progressive Michael Huttner (a Huffington Post contributor). You know how lefty drama trolls whine that we at Moonbattery rely on unfair caricatures of progressives to smear the movement; well, Michael Huttner is the kind of sanctimonious progressive twit who validates the stereotype.

This quote encapsulates moonbat progressivism nicely.

We have a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. We took them trick-or-treating and it was great. And the next day we took their bags of candy and gave them to the homeless. They couldn't have been more excited about it.

So, he thinks he's brilliant and compassionate because he gave other people's candy to a bunch of bums.

Yup, that's progressive liberalism.
