Eco-Pirates Sunk
Posted by Dave Blount at January 6, 2010 1:48 PM
Here's a good laugh at the expense of the eco-vandals who harass fishing and whaling ships, often deliberately endangering the crews (e.g., by hurling bottles of rotten butter onto the decks):
A conservation group's boat had its bow sheared off and was in danger of sinking as it took on water Wednesday after it was struck by a Japanese whaling ship in the frigid waters of Antarctica, the group said.
If the moonbats don't back off, people who make a living from the sea might have to invest in torpedoes.
Clashes using hand-thrown stink bombs, ropes meant to tangle propellers and high-tech sound equipment have been common in recent years, and crashes between ships have sometimes occurred.
Naturally the eco-pirates are screeching that the Japanese rammed them on purpose — despite video that belies the claim.
The crew was rescued by a Sea Shepherd Conservation Society vessel named after the antediluvian game show clown Bob Barker, who paid for it. Bob proudly barks:
[Militant moonbat Paul Watson] said he thought he could put the Japanese whaling fleet out of business if he had $5 million. I said, "I think you do have the skills to do that, and I have $5 million, so let's get it on," so that's what we did.
Putting the productive out of business is what moonbattery is all about.

The doomed boat drags line meant to entangle propellers.
