A man was washed up on a beach after a terrible shipwreck. Only a sheep and a sheepdog were washed up with him. After looking around, he realized that they were stranded on a deserted island.

After being there awhile, he got into the habit of taking his two animal companions to the beach every evening to watch the sunset. One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red with beautiful cirrus clouds, the breeze was warm and gentle - a perfect night for romance.

As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the lonely man. Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it. But the sheepdog, ever protective of the sheep, growled fiercely until the man took his arm from around the sheep.

After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together, but there was no more cuddling.

A few weeks passed by and, lo and behold, there was another shipwreck. The only survivor was Nancy Pelosi.

That evening, the man brought Nancy to the evening beach ritual. It was another beautiful evening - red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze - perfect for a night of romance.

Pretty soon, the man started to get 'those' feelings' again. He fought the urges as long as he could but he finally gave in and leaned over to Nancy and told her he hadn't had sex for months.

Nancy batted her eyelashes and asked if there was anything she could do for him.

He said, 'Would you mind taking the dog for a walk?

Christmas According to Marx and Lenin, by Ronald Reagan

The war against Christmas has only recently come to America, but repressive governments have banned that holy day for many years. From 1969 to 1997, Christmas was banned in Cuba. Christianity Today in 2002 reported that in the Vietnamese province of Dak Lak, children's choirs were forbidden to sing "Silent Night." Such examples are endless. Repressive forces have always had the same goal - to first secularize and then to eliminate Christmas.

Communist leaders of the former Soviet Union banned Christmas, changed the words to Christmas songs and folded all Christmas celebrations into a New Year celebration.

Christians exhibited bravery and courage in confronting Communism's anti-Christmas campaign. One person recalled how the young people would go out in the streets and sing Christmas carols, knowing that if police heard them, they would be arrested. In Communist Romania, Geza Palffy, a priest, delivered a sermon in 1983 protesting against the fact that December 25th had been declared a work day instead of a holiday. The next day he was arrested by secret police, beaten, imprisoned and died.

Before becoming President, Ronald Reagan delivered more than 1,000 three-minute radio broadcasts, writing nearly all of them himself. In one broadcast he told a story about how Communists gradually changed Christmas in the Ukraine.

Reagan's broadcast recounted that both inside and outside the Iron Curtain, Ukrainians never stopped singing: "We beg you our Lord, we pray to you today. Grant us freedom, return glory to our Mother Ukraine." He ended the broadcast: "I guess we all hope their prayer is answered."

And indeed it was.

Read the transcript of Reagan's Christmas broadcast.

You missed one........Fox.

Although Fox reports more about what's really going on, and is the only news outlet I'll watch, they are playing "Good Cop, Bad Cop" with conservatives. Talk radio is too.

What do all these self proclaimed "Conservatives" have in common?

Bill O'Reilly
Sean Hannity
Glenn Beck
Mark Levin
Michael Medved
David Horowitz
Dennis Prager
Mike Gallagher
Rush Limbaugh
Dick Morris
Michael Savage
Pat Buchanan
Ann Coulter
Laura Ingraham
Michelle Malkin

None of them will bring up the issue that should be first and foremost........."Where's the Birth Certificate?" Instead, they lie about having seen it, and openly attack and ridicule anyone that dare mention it.

If they would, Obama and all his Marxist damage would go away immediately.

Harvard Study: Computerization in hospitals, on the whole, does not save money, does not significantly improve efficiency, and does not significantly improve patient outcomes (Direct link to study)

"Even hospitals on the "most wired" list "performed no better than others on quality, costs, or administrative costs," the study found. "

This is just as fiscal conservatives said it would be. Right now, the technology is still in development. Pouring tens of billions of government dollars into immature health care IT is nothing more than pork barrel spending for either repayments to special interests, or make-work jobs to boost the GDP and employment numbers fraudulently using borrowed money.

One day, the technology will be there, and the invisible hand will guide it into hospitals where it does lower costs, improve efficiency, and improve patient outcomes.

Until then, government should not be flushing taxpayer money down a pork barrel toilet for the sake of trendy talking points, special interests, and make-work jobs.

They're all cunts?

If a conservative had used that term to describe Nancy Pelosi's power-hungry attitude towards health care reform, all the moonbats on this blog would be decrying supposed "misogyny."

I can tell you one trait shared by all the women on that list - they have all been targets of viscous misogynistic attacks from a wide array of liberals - the same liberals who spend much of their time denouncing conservatives for sexist attitudes.

Case in point: Keith Olbermann

Conservatives need to pay more attention to Alinsky Rule #4: "Make opponents live up to their own book of rules."

Clarifications: Obamacare, ACORN, Adam Lambert

When you’re wrong, you’re wrong. That’s why they put erasers at one end of pencils and why newspapers feature “corrections,” admissions that they screwed up somehow.

I’m man enough to fess up to having made a few errors in the thousand or so posts on this blog and I hereby seek to rectify them, cast myself on the mercy of the reader, and beg forgiveness.

Mea maxima culpa for these gross inaccuracies on Obamacare, ACORN, and Adam Lambert:

. Obamacare: I had more than intimated in any number of articles that Obamacare would lead to rationing of health care, abuses of power, and even something akin to what Sarah Palin dubbed “Death Panels.”

Well, I was wrong and I admit it.

Foolishly, I had assumed that when Obamacare was fully implemented, (which implementation wouldn’t happen until after the 2012 election), Americans would be denied health care if D.C. bureaucrats deemed their treatment unnecessary or if they were just too damned old or sick to waste precious resources on.

I was wrong.

I wasn’t wrong in that future Obamacare assessment since the future is yet to be. I was wrong in not anticipating that America’s medical Mengeles would jump the gun and begin health rationing, power abusing, and death panelling even before Obamacare was visited upon us like the Black Plague.

As Obamacare warm ups in the wings, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has re-evaluated the recommendations of the US Preventive Services Task Force on annual breast cancer screenings via mammograms and vaginal cancer detection via pap smears.

That task force is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, HHS.

The HHS guidelines said not to even bother with self-exams, that mammograms could wait until women are aged 50 and pap smears every two years instead of annually will be just fine and dandy. Women over 65 can skip the smears entirely in most cases: http://bit.ly/eM7qm

In the event women are already dead from breast or cervical cancer, those guidelines would be moot and our pre-Obamacare health system will have shown it’s very adept at rationing and saving tons of money.

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius pooh-poohed the new recommendations of her own agency after it looked as if concerned women nationwide would march on Washington and string her up.

Don’t you worry your pretty, little heads about any of the above, ladies, Sebelius said in effect, and just disregard anything you’ve heard. Disregard, that is, until Obamacare mandates all those guidelines.

Another brilliant medical grinch has decreed that 74 year old George Anter, Korean vet, heart-transplant recipient, victim and survivor of various cancer attacks, is just too old and sick to receive a scarce H1N1 vaccination: http://bit.ly/7vrhJf

Why waste the precious vaccine on a sick elder? Just let him kick the ol’ bucket and delete his useless carbon footprint on the planet. He won’t know the difference between being dead or alive anyway.

. ACORN: Another instance in which I was in grievous error was thinking that ACORN, our president’s virtual arm into the bowels of poor, mostly black, disenfranchised communities, would be cast out into the wilderness after revelations that it endorsed prostitution and was engaged in multiple criminal enterprises.

I was wrong again. . . .

Barbara "Ma'am" Boxer, eco-tyrant from California, doubles down on moonbattery: "You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate'"

Citizens should be outraged at this stunning display of electoral disconnect.

The damning emails are a blow to her plan to cripple the US economy and cede economic sovereignty to the UN. Although her concern should be for the futures stolen from American workers and their children, Maam's greatest concern is a procedural question regarding the smoking gun.

To out of touch rulers like Ma'am, there is no hypocrisy in decrying stolen email while advocating for stolen wealth, because, as Beltway corruptocrats would universally agree, "It's not stealing when we do it."

At this point, the people (we, us, etc.) are going to need to intervene regardless of those that think that practicing our civil liberties is BAD!

Mattox v. U.S., 156 US 237, 243.
“We are bound to interpret the Constitution in the light of the law as it existed at the time it was adopted.”

LINDER V. UNITED STATES, 268 U. S. 5 (1925) (9-0) "Obviously, direct control of medical practice in the states is beyond the power of the federal government." Even "Incidental regulation of such practice by Congress through a taxing act cannot extend to matters plainly inappropriate and unnecessary to reasonable enforcement of a revenue measure."

Miller v. U.S., 230 F.2d. 486, 489
“The claim and exercise of a Constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime.”

Murdock v. Penn., 319 US 105
“No state shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and attach a fee to it.”

Shuttlesworth v. Birmingham, 373 US 262
“If the state converts a liberty into a privilege, the citizen can engage in the right with impunity.”

Norton v. Shelby County, 118 U.S. 425
“An unconstitutional act is not law; it confers no rights; it imposes no duties; affords no protection; it creates no office; it is in legal contemplation, as inoperative as though it had never been passed.”

Grosjean v. American Press Co., 56 S.Ct. 444, 446, 297 U.S. 233, 80 LEd 660
“Freedom in enjoyment and use of all of one’s powers, faculties and property.”

Time to do our duty folks!
