Ohio Progressives Imitate 'The Simpsons'

In 2003, Entertainment Weekly magazine voted the Simpsons episode BABF13 "Bart to the Future" the Worst Episode Ever! But a line from that episode has become the governing philosophy of Ohio's liberal political class and one of the worst governors ever, Democrat Ted Strickland.
In the future-themed episode, President Lisa Simpson discusses with senior aide Milhous Van Houten how to trick the American people into accepting a tax-increase:
Milhouse van Houten: Well, if you just want to out-and-out lie... okay, we could call it a "temporary refund adjustment."
Lisa Simpson: I love it.
Now, see how Ohio's Progressive tax-and-spend governor is trying to hide his latest tax increase:
According to Strickland, Ohio Democrats, a few alleged Republicans, the Associated Press, and Ohio's compliant establishment media, this is a "tax cut delay." Journalists are going to extraordinary lengths to avoid writing or uttering the words "tax" and "increase" consecutively. I
Buckeye voters' taxes aren't going up, it's the tax cuts that are being delayed... until we can all go ice skating in hell.
P.S. As an Ohio Congressman, Ted Strickland kept a convicted sex offender who liked to molest little girls on school playgrounds employed as a campaign manager and even traveled to Italy with him after finding out about the conviction.
If Ted gets turned out of office next year, maybe he can be the new Safe Schools Czar.
