Morning Briefs, I Don't Care If You Heard Them Already or Not

Item Number One: In Australia, two contestants on a reality show are being prosecuted on animal cruelty charges for killing and eating a rat; a dirty, filthy, rat. Good Lord, what's next? Should we prosecute people for swatting flies?
Item Number Two:Airstrip One has launched a $2 Billion warship that has neither guns nor missiles. They couldn't afford to equip the ship with an operational weapons system. This is the kind of thing that happens when you gut military spending to pay for nationalized health care; which is a major reason why government health care is such a priority among those who want to weaken the United States.
Item Number Three: Once again, the lefty "scientific" community is out to prove that if you don't support socialism and environmental extremism, there's something wrong with your brain. Researchers are out to prove that people who don't believe in Manbearpig have "dead spots" in their brains. Because, you see, it's "irrational" to be skeptical of people who travel the world on private jets warning us that our "lavish" lifestyles and hydrocarbon consumption is destroying the planet. It's "irrational" to be suspicious of socialists who want to reorder the entire planet along socialist lines based on climate change, the only proof for which is severely questionable data.
You want proof that Global Warming is just a conspiracy by Socialist Hippies to get us to live like them? OK, here's a Global Warmist who thinks we need to stop washing ourselves. (Thank you, Scott). Case closed.
