Libs in Toyland

If Hollywood isn't going to make anything uplifting, patriots will just have to take matters into their own hands:

Australia's carbon-trading legislation fails
By ROHAN SULLIVAN,Associated Press Writer
Thursday, December 3
SYDNEY – Australia's Senate on Wednesday defeated the government's plan to implement a carbon pollution trading system to fight global warming, dashing hopes of setting an example for other nations at U.N. climate change talks next week.
The scuttled proposal would have placed Australia alongside the European Union and a handful of other places that have or are considering "cap-and-trade" systems to cut greenhouse gas emissions, and burnished Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's international reputation as a leader on the issue.
As an Aussie, I cannot tell you how happy I am that this turd got shot down. (And that the bug-eyed, pasty filing clerk Kevin Crud's 'international reputation' will not be burnished at the expense of crippling the economy.)

Better plot line than anything coming out of Hollywood these days.

Ridicule is one of the Rules for Radicals that Obama loves. Good to see lefties getting a taste of their own medicine.

PLOVER, you mean to say 2012 isn't a Christmas movie?
Sure seemed like their best effort since a few decades ago.
I think "Die Hard" was Christmas themed - Kill-the-Terrorists-in-the-Skyscraper-to-be-with-the-Family kind of Christmasy plot.
Seriously, who needs enemies when we have so many self-loathing cretins running around bashing everything American right here in our country?

New Moon Trailer with Sarah Palin
(give ya a clue, forget the movie, ugh!)
Posted by: TED at December 3, 2009 6:18 AM
That was pretty funny.
It seems like every movie of 'Babes in Toyland' tries to freakier than the last.
One of the toy soldiers should have had Joe the Plumber's face, since that would go with the idea of the toy soldiers representing regular citizens rising up against Obama.
"Have you noticed the last few years the complete absence of any christmas themed movies from hollyweed i mean none at all"
I don't think that's true.
Here are a few fairly recent ones:
1. 'Fred Claus'
2. 'Four Christmases'
3. The recent 'A Christmas Carol.'
