Gaia Wants Us Cold and Hungry

That Gaia that the left worships really has a thing against humans being warm and fed. In Gaia's name, the US Government massively subsidizes ethanol to ensure that we burn our food instead of eating it. On Airstrip One, the Government serves Gaia by paying farmers not to grow pigs. Pigs are a delicious source of bacon, but their farts make Bill McKibben cry.

I wonder if we adopted this in the US, if jobs not lost not growing grain to not feed to pigs that aren't reared would count in the stimulus numbers?

And now you understand how the Obama people get their Stimulus job figures.
