Friday Morning Briefs

Good Morning Conservative Patriots and Insecure Lefties Whose Fathers Never Loved Them,

Item Number One: It isn't news when Senator Barbara "Don't Call Me Ma'am" Boxer says something stupid, the woman has the IQ of a peanut. So, here's what California's oh-so-junior senator has to say about how Viagra is just like abortion.

"The men who have brought us this don't single out a procedure that's used by a man, or a drug that is used by a man, that involves his reproductive health care and say they have to get a special rider," Boxer said on the Senate floor.

Yo, dingbat, first of all, taking a Viagra is not like having an abortion; nobody dies when a man uses Viagra. And second, some of us oppose forcing insurance companies to pay for any of this, because unlike the economic illiterates in the majority party, we understand that forcing insurance companies to pay for more things makes insurance more expensive.

Item Number Two: The person who has to be the happiest about Tiger Woods's troubles has to be Democrat Senator Max Baucus. Thanks to Tiger sinking his putz into so many, many holes, nobody is talking about how the prominent Democrat Senator tried to set his mistress up as U.S. Attorney in Montana. Of course, it also helps that he's a Democrat, and no one ever holds Democrats accountable for corruption... except maybe the voters; which is why Chris Dodd is in so much trouble the Democrat Party is trying to force him out. Funny how the party never cared about his corrupt ties to Countrywide until polls showed him losing to every Republcan, including the chick from the WWF.

Item Number Three: Remember Brian Baird, the moonbat congressman from Washington state referred to tea-party patriots as brownshirts? And was so scared to face his constituents that he canceled live townhalls in favor of controlled, pre-screened, "telephone town halls." Well, he's decided not to run for re-election in what was considered a pretty safe Democrat district. Dennis Moore in Kansas and John Tanner in Tennessee are also quitting. Tanner was outraised in fundraising by a gospel-singing farmer with no political experience. All of these seats were considered safe until polls began to show Pelosi's congress is less popular than Dick Cheney and independents are fleeing the Democrats in droves.

Democrats seem to sense that a bloodbath is coming in 2010. This is probably one reason passing the Government Takeover of Health Care is so critical; I bet every congressman who votes for it has been promised a job as a health care commissioner if they lose their seat.

By the way, Prep and Landing is one of the coolest Christmas Specials I've seen in years. It's available at Hulu for your viewing pleasure. (Thrasher the Reindeer is my hero!) Check it out this weekend. Have a good one.
