That "fat lip" looks like a cold sore to me.

The top photo and what was done to those people leaves me so angry and wanting to hurt someone, but a fat lip would be but an insult and personally would have preferred his dna be scattered over a 1000 mile radius - making it difficult to even put an ear together...but that's just me...

These brave soldiers, the VERY best the USA can muster against its enemies, are in my prayers so they can remain strong in the face of the domestic treason we are witnessing. This is appalling, simply. How do you capture an enemy? Do you ask them nicely and write strongly worded letters? In my opinion they showed a lot of restrain, what did they do, at worst, punching him to quiet him? Is this how Liberals see war?

At the mention of "fat lip" I was expecting a pic of John Murtha.

Be certain to make note, the 'fat lip' picture is NOT military evidence being used in the Navy SEALs case (as I have gathered the only 'evidence' is some vague remark from another SEAL).

I would doubt a picture would be released of the dirtbag especially during an ongoing investigation.

the victim in the picture ain't fucked up near enough to have met with 3 Navy SEALs. They would NEVER leave teeth behind ... he'd be wearing them out his asshole.

That top picture puts it all in perspective, doesn't it? Even the Seals had bashed the perpetrators' faces in it wouldn't have matched the Fallujah atrocity in terms of sheer viciousness.

I'm torn. Sure, I think the posecution, or even the INVESTIGATION, is crap; but I think that it should go to full court marshal. I think the biggest, fattest, most HELLACIOUS deal should be made out of this so that the whole politicly correct "war" policy can be brought out into the open.

I would have been real comfortable with them coming back saying they 'almost had him' but he got away. Yeah. Like crossing-over 'away'.

I would have given him a fat lip, too. Only it would have been associated with an exit wound in the back of his head you throw a cat through.

What happened to the contractors was hideous and I'm glad the guy who was behind it was caught.

I have no idea what happened to the terrorist. I gather that they tried to cover up whatever it was because those are some of the charges against them. For all I know those might be the most serious charges.

I doubt the military charges people frivolously so I expect there is a lot more to this story than a fat lip. We will find out.

So far as I am aware the charges came from the military, so blaming "liberals" or the government for laying charges is bogus.
