Countermoonbat Courage in Iran

Too bad this couldn't have happened while America had leadership that would have sided with the Democratic uprising against Iran's authoritarian terrorist regime. Here Iranian rebels save two of their own from a hanging:
Kudos to Iranians for having the character to prefer liberty to tyranny. It would be nice to think the same still holds true of Americans, despite the profoundly disgraceful results of our last election. But while Iranians are out on the streets getting shot, we just let corrupt statists seize control of the healthcare industry in open opposition to the will of the public.
The mullahs getting overthrown before they can get their hands on nukes is the best thing that could happen to this world, short of every liberal suddenly outgrowing moonbattery. Obama has made it clear he wants to "engage" with Ahmadinejad, just as he sided with tyranny in Honduras — but if the rest of the world moves toward freedom, the Moonbat Messiah won't be relevant.
On a tip from Wiggins.
