Your Money at Work

Posted by Van Helsing at November 4, 2009 12:09 PM

As real unemployment soars well into the double digits, and the economy staggers under the weight of Big Government, this is where your tax money goes:

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius … announced plans to establish the nation's first national resource center to assist communities across the country in their efforts to provide services and supports for older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals. …
The LGBT Resource Center will help community-based organizations [e.g., ACORN] understand the unique needs and concerns of older LGBT individuals and assist them in implementing programs for local service providers, including providing help to LGBT caregivers who are providing care for an older partner with health or other challenges.
The Administration on Aging will award a single Resource Center grant at approximately $250,000 per year, pending availability of funds. Eligible entities will include public-private nonprofit organizations with experience working on LGBT issues on a national level.

Pending availability of funds? Even the Moonbat Messiah admits the government is out of money, but that hasn't slowed down spending any. Once these frivolous sinkholes have opened, they will continue to suck in tax loot forever and ever, whether we can afford them or not.

On a tip from Karin.

Yeah, because "understanding the unique needs" of us taxpayers who hafta PAY for all this politically correct bullsh*t -- if we're fortunate enough to have a wage-slavery income that is -- is just too darn hard.

Government should abolish the IRS and stop collecting taxes altogether and should only pay for national defense and roads. We could fire Congress and eliminate their lifetime perks to pay for it.

If something's important enough for you to have, go without it, build it yourself, or buy it on the free market with the money you save by not giving 40% of what you earn to Uncle Sam.

I thought the idea was to integrate all kinds of people into one big happy group, not purposely segregate a sector of society because they're "different". I guess it's just another reminder of the hypocrisy of the left.

Why don't their kids take of 'em? Oh, wait...never mind.

Since we are retired folks who are in the lifestyle you think that all of us old swingers here at the Villages could be helped as well?

do ya think Acorn is in the running for this grant?

Yet another nauseous example of pork.

Posted by: hey you guys at November 4, 2009 2:07 PM

Why can't these people just get the same help as normal people get?
Its Affirmative Action for everybody but normal white people.

WTF!
I hope she gets the swine flu.

Kathleen Sebelius, another self-hating leftist/feminist WHITE WOMAN who hates her own race.

WTF is wrong with white women these days and why are they suicidal?

It makes perfect sense to me why white European people will soon be a minority in the USA.

When that happens, you had better be prepared to defend/protect yourself and your loved ones because VIOLENCE AGAINST WHITES WILL INCREASE EXPONENTIALLY.

Sebelius is not white but Bolshevik. Now it makes sense.

My bad.

Off the subject, I attended a meeting last night at the Conservative Forum of Silicon Valley (sounds like an oxymoron, but the group is growing!) with guest speaker Rev. Jesse Peterson. He's an awesome, inspirational speaker and runs an organization called BOND which helps transform at-risk boys into responsible, successful men.

He spoke about the damage the Democrats/government have done to the black community, so needless to say his message isn't very popular in the black or liberal communities.

I just needed to toot his horn because I enjoyed his presentation so much.

Yet one more thing for which we can thank the 60s: a growing abundance of "older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals".

What about caring for older heterosexual, so that's what I am, well really it's none of your, or anyone else's, business what my sexual orientation is (HSTWIAWRINOYOAEBWMSOI) individuals?

This will please the LEFTISTS who currently run NOTRE DAME. They paid for some students to attend the "GAY RIGHTS MARCH" in D.C. recently.

RINO RINO in CA.

Carly Fiorina, here is an interesting quote from her:

"There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore," said Carly Fiorina, chief executive for Hewlett-Packard Co. "We have to compete for jobs."

It's time to call out Carly Fiorina! Say no to the Rino Rino. She drove HP into the toilet with her outsourcing.

I have an elderly parent with dementia / Alzheimer's to look after. What sort of support does the government offer MY family? I'll give you a guess....and it'll remind you a lot of the "O"-bama symbol.

I guess we don't belong to the proper "Special Interest / Victim Group"

It reminds me of the old Army expression: "Nothing is too good for the troops. So nothing is exactly what they're gonna get".

I'm in the same boat, I have to deal with someone who is the equivalent of a 7 year old with a check book who would write a check to everything and everyone that she finds in a magazine.

Posted by: Moonbat Skullcracker at November 4, 2009 4:29 PM

What might these "services" include, that normal "assistance" does not provide, anyway?

What might an aging homo or dyke, who is no longer alluring, to the hot young studs and studettes, expect from a "special service"?

Moonbat logic dictates that an old unattractive homo requires state funded fisting. He has a "human right" to teen hotties, right?

"There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore," said Carly Fiorina, chief executive for Hewlett-Packard Co. "We have to compete for jobs."

She's right about that, which is why we need to clean the schools of liberal bureaucrats and Big Labor. Along the same line, we also need to squelch the union thuggery that makes it damn near impossible to create manufacturing jobs in this country. Along the same line, we also need to reform our corporate tax structure, which penalizes successful corporations at the second highest rate in the developed world.

Is it any wonder this country is hemorrhaging jobs overseas, despite all the pork projects the Democrats tried to stimulate?

Mr. President, where are the jobs?

Its not surprising to me at all that this is happening; more importantly, we all know very well how the left supports depraved behaviors, so it should come as no surprise that those who choose to live freakish lifestyles are the ones who are embraced by and supported by the left. We all have the power to remove these lobotomized, brain-dead idiots from office.

"Being black Obama cannot take a side"

Yes, after all, only white devils are racist!!
