Diversity is America's greatest strength. When America valued atavistic values like merit, achievement, and Judeo-Christian morals, it went from a third-world colonial backwater to the most wealthy and powerful nation on Earth. This was bad because it was bad and made other countries resentful.

The more we put the values of race, gender, cultural, and diversity in general paramount in our national consciousness, the more we can revert to the norm of mediocrity and oppression that reign supreme in those third world countries we should emulate.

Multiculturalism has made my city of Detroit what it is today.

What ever happened to "The Great American Melting Pot"? There was even a School House Rock dedicated to that idea when we were kids. I wonder if that could ever run again today?

Agreed, my friend, agreed. Sometimes, I swear it's like we're living in an artificial reality. Polls, elections, "news accounts" (?!?); everything from the stories of my elders to my daily experience points the other way, a past that counters this reality.

Nothing I've experienced of late matches what's being told us. Nothing. I have very liberal friends of all colors, creeds, and stripes and we get along famously yet agree to disagree when it comes to ideology but we've never come to blows or this sort of invective.
