Once again, vets: thank you.
Don't let the cowardly politics get you down. Heroes always prevail in the end.

"All gave some, some gave all".
I set my phone alarm for 11:00 am today. When it went off, my mother asked if it was my phone ring and was kind of puzzled when I said "no" then took out my phone and shut it off. I then told her "It's the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month. It's now officially Veterans Day".
She understood.

Serving in the US military was the greatest experience of my life. I was in Desert Storm and regret the US did not finish the job.

I would like to point out that Google UK have included a Poppy in their banner. Although Google have been neglegent wrt Patriotic occasions, credit given where credit is due.
On my behalf, I would like to thank all relatives of, and the US serviceman who participated and were killed on the beaches of Normandy fighting for my freedom and my peoples liberty from tyranny, oppression and slavery. I honour you and you shall never be forgotten.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. May God grant them eternal rest!
