US Soldiers May Be Fed to Farcical International Court

Posted by Van Helsing at November 28, 2009 8:36 AM

Let's see, what else could Chairman Zero do to weaken our country and undermine the morale of the military? I know: subject American soldiers to the moonbat political theater of "war crimes" show trials in The Hague. The groundwork is already being laid:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed "great regret" in August that the U.S. is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court (ICC). This has fueled speculation that the Obama administration may reverse another Bush policy and sign up for what could lead to the trial of Americans for war crimes in The Hague.
The ICC's chief prosecutor, though, has no intention of waiting for Washington to submit to the court's authority. Luis Moreno Ocampo says he already has jurisdiction — at least with respect to Afghanistan.
Because Kabul in 2003 ratified the Rome Statute — the ICC's founding treaty — all soldiers on Afghan territory, even those from nontreaty countries, fall under the ICC's oversight, Mr. Ocampo told me. And the chief prosecutor says he is already conducting a "preliminary examination" into whether NATO troops, including American soldiers, fighting the Taliban may have to be put in the dock.
"We have to check if crimes against humanity, war crimes or genocide have been committed in Afghanistan," Mr. Ocampo told me. "There are serious allegations against the Taliban and al Qaeda and serious allegations about warlords, even against some who are connected with members of the government." Taking up his inquiry of Allied soldiers, he added, "there are different reports about problems with bombings and there are also allegations about torture."

Raising your voice to a terrorist falls well within an international bureauweenie's definition of "torture."

It was clear who the targets of these particular inquiries are but the chief prosecutor shied away from spelling it out.
Asked repeatedly whether the examination of bombings and torture allegations refers to NATO and U.S. soldiers, Mr. Ocampo finally stated that "we are investigating whoever commits war crimes, including the group you mentioned."
The fact that he avoided a straightforward "I am looking into possible war crimes committed by American soldiers" showed that Mr. Ocampo is aware of the enormity of crossing this legal and political bridge.

The next time SEALs capture a terrorist, they won't just get court-martialed, they'll be sent before a panel of posturing Euroweenies who will pronounce them guilty of crimes against dhimmitude and throw them in a foreign prison as our liberal rulers smile and nod.

Isn't this sort of like giving the American drivers in Germany in WWII speeding tickets under the German city ordinances?

In a Utopian world, we would not have war at all. That said they are pushing for a Global Communist Government and under Communism all boarders are erased. The idea of Americans facing charges in "Global Courts" is only possible if the USA decides to cast off its severity and "Go Global Government"

Posted by: AlphaOmega at November 28, 2009 8:53 AM

IMHO, this has nothing to do with soldiers...and have everything to do with the prosecution of George W. Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and the various other members of that administration for invading Iraq.

So then you disagree with this:

In a Utopian world, we would not have war at all. That said they are pushing for a Global Communist Government and under Communism all boarders are erased. The idea of Americans facing charges in "Global Courts" is only possible if the USA decides to cast off its severity and "Go Global Government"

AlphaOmega, I'm not sure where you're going with what appears to be a question. As soon as the word "Utopian" appears, the rest takes on a dream-world perspective and, to that end, I have no opinion on a dream-world that does not (or can not) exist.

As for Communism - generally - I see that as simply a higher or stronger form of Socialism. When we reach the point where Americans come to their senses and see just where this is all headed - for the global government that Liberals like George Soros espouse - there will be a backlash and rejection, the likes of which we've never seen.

Hopefully, that happens sooner than later.

In my comment, I think I made it clear who the "targets" are in this internationally political move.

My assertion is:

"That said they are pushing for a Global Communist Government and under Communism all boarders are erased."

Do you agree yes or no?

Sorry about the double post the first didn't seem to work

Posted by: AlphaOmega at November 28, 2009 9:51 AM

Indeed why hold ourselves to the same standard we hold everyone else? Why shouldn't we get away with crimes when we can instead act superior and act as though only other countries perpetrate them?

I guess if you're both the Alpha AND the Omega, such questions are "farcical" — a word I have yet to heard used in conversation, but which this site delights in.

You guys are serious dimwits.

I agree with the statement up to the word "and". I disagree that "under Communism all borders are erased". Even in a worldwide Communist society there are/will continue to be borders, if for nothing more than to separate which Communist controls which part of the globe. A Communist China, for instance, isn't going to erase its borders to accommodate a Communist Russia. They might expand their border, but never erase it.

It would be nice to hear how all of this relates to the original post and my comment.

"War to the hilt between communism and capitalism is inevitable. Today, of course, we are not strong enough to attack. Our time will come in thirty to forty years. To win, we shall need the element of surprise. The bourgeoisie will have to be put to sleep. So we shall begin by launching the most spectacular peace movement on record. There will be electrifying overtures and unheard of concessions. The capitalist countries, stupid and decadent, will rejoice to cooperate in their own destruction. They will leap at another chance to be friends. As soon as their guard is down, we shall smash them with our clenched fist." -- Dimitri Manuilski

The dissolution of borders, redistribution of wealth and destruction of the family unit are in fact the primary goals of the Communist population control and disposal system that the world is going to face.

I think I spelled his name incorrectly should you want to read it is spelled Dimitri Manuilsky. Some suggest that he never said this but regardless we “have been put to sleep.”

"What does this all mean? The Soviet Union is dead only by name and the
dedicated Communist leaders of Russia, teaming up with China, are slipping into
their old clothes and dropping their pretenses, assessing correctly that American
and Western leaders are to too befuddled to see through their charade. What a
relief it is that President Bush does not let himself be bullied by this bunch of liars.
He is pushing ahead to defend America with a missile defense system. But when
will we drop the illusion that "we have won the cold war", "communism is
finished" and we are dealing now with countries and leaders "on the way to
democracy"? When will political leaders face reality? We are dealing with the
same gangsters as always who are committed to the destruction of all free society -
America first. The ignorance about that fact is the most dangerous threat we face." -- Hilmar von Campe

The SEALs need to not take anymore prisoners.

"I guess if you're both the Alpha AND the Omega, such questions are "farcical" — a word I have yet to heard used in conversation, but which this site delights in.

Farcical:

–adjective
1. pertaining to or of the nature of farce.
2. resembling farce; ludicrous; absurd.

Related forms:
far⋅ci⋅cal⋅i⋅ty, far⋅ci⋅cal⋅ness, noun
far⋅ci⋅cal⋅ly, adverb

So, either you are the dimwit, those with whom you converse are dimwits, or, most likely, both.

QED.

Why don't you read up on the ICC and see it is incompatible with the United States Constitution instead of spewing nonsense on the Internet you slack-jawed pantysniffer.

We can be sure that another word for pro-communist troll is asshole.
Look it up.
AlphaOmega was correct in the initial assumption, and trounced upon by commie trolls.
If Obama allows our soldiers into the globalist's court, then Obama submits to globalists, and is pro-communist thereby.

The key phrase in the article you mention is "fueled speculation" although fueling further idiocy through usually incorrect speculation is the sum of this site, so not a huge surprise.

Anonymous: I guess you missed the fact it was already signed by the Clinton Administration and rescinded by the Conservatives? Since moistening the shaft of unanswerable, unelected United Nations officials with saliva at the mere thought of becoming the "global village" and putting the United States defence policy to a "global test" its only a matter of time before you idiots beg for it to be signed again.

Posted by: xantl at November 29, 2009 2:36 PM

UN officials with saliva, sorry, I don't care who you are, that's just funny.

You prefer your them to not have saliva, I take it.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 29, 2009 3:08 PM

Correct. I prefer for the United States to not fellate the United Nations. However, the Democratic party inevitably deep throats every U.N meat-baton presented to it, and sometimes goes back for seconds.

Ugh, one joke and you go straight for the the privates.

For a group of folks who don't approve of homos, you sure do know a whole lot about cock sucking.

Are you afraid of what might be found? You think Americans are incapable of crime? Or just American soldiers? No amount of insults can hide that kind of naivite.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 29, 2009 4:08 PM

Right, because only homosexuals engage in oral sex? let me guess you're a Professor of logic, in real life?
Are you a fucking idiot, or do you just play one on the Internet? What part of it infringing upon Americans constitutional rights do you not understand pencil dick, perhaps I can draw you a diagram?
