The Joe Wilson of Eurotopia

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at November 29, 2009 7:04 AM

Alternate Title: European Parliament: Democracy's Clown College

Let me summarize this video:

1. A British MEP, Nigel Farage, denounces the anti-Democratic nature of the European Union, citing examples of high-level appointees who've never had a real job, never been elected to anything, and who have previously worked to undermine Western Democracy.

2. A cadaverous Eurocrat zombie says, in a mealy-mouthed way, that everyone is offended by Narage's intemperate language.

3. An ugly socialist with a bad haircut spouts some lame platitudes and then insults him lamely by comparing him to a monkey's behind. (So, you see, it's not just the ones who comment in right-wing blogs. They're all like this.)

All this, and a quick shot of a big fat guy picking his nose.

Shouldn't that ugly socialist be out causing "beeg trouble for moose and squirrel!"

Wow - that was good! Pass the popcorn!!

I just love seeing conservatives passionate about outing fraud and injustice, taking it to the enemy. And make no mistake - these people are the enemy. Why can't our Republican Congresscritters be more like that? Our guys need to man-up, lest we be surpassed by the Brit MPs in the cojones deprtment (if that hasn't already happened).

"Herman Van Rompuy; doesn't exactly trip off the tongue, does it?"

"...we'll have the bland leading the bland..."

And the most curious quote, "...she's never been elected to anything, and no one knows who she is!" and "...she's risen without trace, she's part of this post-democratic age."

Gosh, that all sounds eerily familiar...

Good Lord, do we ever need people like this man in America!

"it would be most appropriate if you turned, er, your tone down because certain expressions are not acceptable to everybody..."

Yes, I would imagine not, especially when those "expressions" are statements of fact and opinions supported by fact.

Can you just imagine where we'd all be if a man like William Wilberforce had only "played nicely" and without compassion?

People like Nigel Farage give me hope, maybe all is not yet lost.

with the announcement out Iran this morning, maybe the'll be getting some early stocking stuffers for Christmas!

TEHRAN, Iran — The Iranian government approved a plan Sunday to build 10 industrial scale uranium enrichment facilities, a dramatic expansion of the program in defiance of U.N. demands it halt enrichment.

The EUROPEAN SOVIET UNION

Another one of the good guys from across the pond - Daniel Hannan. Wonder what he's still doing with the Tories? He should be with the UKIP along with Farage.

Yep, I was almost right when I predicted that the EU would last 15 years, tops.

Marry me, Nigel Farage.

Ironic how the Euro gentry types are moving seamlessly into the pseudo-aristocracy of the EU/lords of the climate while preaching "democracy" all the way. Thank God there are those like Farage to piss in the punchbowl of these frauds.
