The Diversity of MSDNC

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at November 24, 2009 5:03 AM

MSDNC hosts, making sure they do not leave a single Palin-bashing angle unexploited, have attacked the crowds gathering for her book signings as being "all white." MSDNC, no doubt, feels superior because they have embraced the wonder of racial diversity.

Or, maybe not.

MSDNC's line-up; not exactly a Benetton ad.

Never mind.

Yeah! WTF are THEY talking about! What jerks!

No kidding.

That picture looks like a solid Klan meeting to me...

Posted by: Fuzzlenutter at November 24, 2009 5:36 AM

Who cares? Palin and MSNBC still suck.

Posted by: RighteousIndignation at November 24, 2009 6:01 AM

Maybe this is why there's FOX as a counterbalance. Just last night, Byron Harlan announced that the Opinion Dynamics poll indicated that Palin was ahead in the 2012 POTUS nomination with 70%. He then said Huckabee's at 63% and Romney with 60%. He even showed a graph.

I'll leave it to you guys to figure out what's wrong with that picture (and no, it wasn't that the question asked in the poll was " do you have a generally favorable or unfavorable opinion of each one"). Oh, wait, if they said it on FOX, it's gotta be true. Never mind.

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 6:41 AM

Hypocrisy, they name is MSNBC.

Posted by: Judith M. at November 24, 2009 6:45 AM

Is it just me, or is andy way more obsessed with FoxNews than any of us are?

Posted by: V the K at November 24, 2009 6:57 AM

Actually, andyzipcode, the question asked in the poll was "I'm going to read you the names of several individuals. Please tell me
whether you have a generally favorable or unfavorable opinion of each one."

Nice try... but we're hip to the way liberals never let pesky facts get in the way of a good ATTEMPT at a slap-down. See, we actually look this stuff up.

Dumbass.

Posted by: hiram at November 24, 2009 7:04 AM

It's not an obsession VK but rather that I try to digest a rounded source of news and commentary. It seems that every time I watch FOX, I'm taken aback by their blatant deception. This was the case last night when I watch Harlan mislead a "do you like this person" poll as a "landing the nomination" poll. And then he comes up with some 193 percentage points to help sell the snake oil.

As for obsessions, you may want to look at your own "oh how we want the left to hate Palin so badly" blogs created here in the past few days. Funny stuff.

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 7:08 AM

Jeez trollandy, if they ever make legal whatever it is you're ingesting, you could be dealer and make a lot money. Must be powerful stuff.

Posted by: Son of Taz at November 24, 2009 7:10 AM

I had something witty to say then I saw this comment, well spoken

+100 to Judith!

"Hypocrisy, they name is MSNBC.

Posted by: hiram at November 24, 2009 7:04 AM

IOW, another dishonest story ginned up by the left, like last week's "Sarah Palin got booed at a book signing" story.

Posted by: V the K at November 24, 2009 7:24 AM

Never watch these mental patients, but their hypocrisy is obvious for all the see -- why don't you resign, Overbite, et al., and make way for a Muslim anchor on MSLSD (Levin's perfect moniker for this pseudo-network)? Any African-American broadcasters out there who would like a job on TV? I'm sure Maddow would be willing to give up her "job" so you could have it (being the good Lib that she is).

Or, maybe not . . .

Posted by: jc14 at November 24, 2009 7:43 AM

I for one am extremely happy there is an MSNBC. It gets all the fringe moonbats together in one place. A bit painful when they're in power, but there is nothing, NOTHING, like watching the plaintive wail of an entire herd of moonbats when they suffer a major political loss. 2010, health care, cap n trade, gay marriage, whatever comes up in the future, the howling will be heard straight through to nearby cable channels.

I love the plaintive wail of defeated moonbat herds even more than the smell of napalm in the morning. Thank you MSNBC, for bringing them all together in one place as Obama's approval rating hits 45 % (check - yep, today) and the DemoLice start jumping off ship.

White liberal hypocrisy regarding racial profiling is always apparent and transparent. They see their criticism of white conservatives as racists as always justified just because they are white liberals and yet they practice racial exclusion due to their belief that their being white and liberal makes them superior. As a conservative black man, I feel more at home with fellow conservatives who happen to be white rather than phony white liberals who feel in their superiority that they have to represent me.

Posted by: apostle53 at November 24, 2009 9:20 AM

After looking at the line-up, I'm having some trouble finding a representative of the poor down-trodden, oppressed, minority that every company is required by law to manipulate into the lime-light for reasons of diversity and equal opportunity. Surely this isn't representative of how all "news" organizations operate under the wildly successful programs designed to prop up the unfortunate individuals held back from success by the evil capitalistic demon hiding under the moniker of competition. This would never be allowed to occur at a prestigious educational institution.

That said, I have to admit Morning Joe has at least a slight showing of possible fairness, at least when I can bear to watch it.

Posted by: Eric at November 24, 2009 9:28 AM

Andyzipperhead, just because Fox says different than what the rest do, doesn't mean they're being deceiving; you've been deceived everywhere else and you're just getting the truth. For those who can see the man behind the curtain, it's refreshing, for you, shocking. Sure, they could be a bit more careful now and then, but they're human and admit it, not like the rest of the lsm that live in a fantasy world daily.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at November 24, 2009 10:05 AM

So what if Palin's fans are white. Can't white people have an opinion any more?

Posted by: man of few words at November 24, 2009 11:33 AM

Well, Mika Brezynski is Russian, and Rachel Maddow is a power diesel dyke, doesn't THAT count as diversity?? :)

Posted by: Ianto Cooper at November 24, 2009 1:35 PM

Mr Evilwrench, must you be so angry as to resort to such childish "zipperhead" insults? While we're at it, why is the general tone of the right leaning contributors here so angry when questioned with opposing views?

FOX admits their cropping and false info only when caught red handed, and they do it often. What's interesting is that they have a long and frequent history of errors that only promotes their agenda, never to discredit it. What are the odds of that? That's beyond coincidental in the rational thinking of "mistakes".

My son's home from college for the holidays and offered me a beer. When I read your "fantasy world" comment it almost made me spew my keyboard from laughter. Nice spin.

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 2:12 PM

My new policy (for now, anyhow). Ignore the "andy"s of the world.

They snipe, they obfuscate, they muddy the waters, they hit-and-run with their agenda...in other words, they keep us off message.

We have been called racists endlessly. It looks as if (at MSNBC) it takes one to know one. They are the nastiest bunch of hypocrites and partisans I've ever seen.

Fox News gets it right. Everyone makes mistakes, but you see more points of view, have better news coverage and more diverse opinion shows (obviously with a "right" slant) than any other station.

Beck's "hot line" gimmick was amazing. "Call me if I'm wrong, I'll correct myself right here on the air." So far, no calls. Night after night HAMMERING the White House and Anita Dunn...and not a peep.

Oh, but that's just because Fox and conservatives are racist bigot homophobic lying liars. Yeah. You betcha.

And andyzipcode? Don't bother responding. Not the least interested in your smirking opinion. Please, go back to the Daily Kos and pat yourself on the back for being so "progressive".

2010, baby.

Posted by: Wyatt's Torch at November 24, 2009 3:35 PM

But you were interested enough Wyatt, to inject your spin for just long enough to say you're not the least bit interested, only to prop up Fox and Beck. Just too funny how you cloned trolls trip all over yourselves.

Wyatt's done, next troll please.

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 4:06 PM

Andy42302 is a closet Fox news watcher. And also a pussy.

Posted by: Andy42302 is a Psycho at November 24, 2009 4:09 PM

Nice shot there Psycho Andywannabe, when you've been beat down to rock bottom, continuing to make a fool of yourself can't do much more harm right?

What a bunch of moronic and pathetic losers. Well, that's more than likely singular for loser, just my opinion.

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 5:04 PM

Andy...I didn't say I wouldn't use you to my advantage...I just refuse to engage you in any substantive political discussions (is that more precise?).

Also, if some humor can be obtained from what you say, i.e. "But you were interested enough Wyatt, to inject your spin for just long enough to say you're not the least bit interested..." sounding VERY much like "I voted for the eighty seven billion before I voted AGAINST the eighty seven billion", then forgive me but I'm not strong-willed enough to resist that.

Not done yet, andy...you betcha!

Posted by: Wyatt's Torch at November 24, 2009 6:06 PM

Brandon invited me over to braid his hair and talk about New Moon!

I'll catch you guys tomorrow!

Posted by: andy42302 at November 24, 2009 9:14 PM

Wyatt's Kettle, if you "refuse to engage in any substantive political discussions" what "advantage" are you seeking to "use" me as? I think you've just defined yourself as a troll which concurs with what I've been saying all along. That kinda makes you somewhat of a tool doesn't it?
From what I've seen here, there's very little knowledge of current news issues and little understanding (or a refusal to understand)of politics or political protocol. It's understandable that you're unable to engage in "substantial discussions" from both an intellectual perspective as well as a reality denial issue. You're better off hiding behind a monitor as a moonbattery kibitzer and pretending that your spin wins you some prize.
Move on or use another name Wyatt, you are dismissed. Next troll please.
