Stimulus Loot Spent on Soda Tax Study

A little more of the $zillions wasted on "stimulus" has been tracked down: $1 million was spent on figuring out new ways to expropriate our money while dictating what we eat:

Two pro-free-market groups have discovered a $1 million stimulus grant to the University of Illinois to fund a study of the relationship between fat taxes and food consumption, diet quality, and obesity. Of concern is that the study results might be preordained.

No kidding. The results of anything having to do with Big Government are preordained: we lose our freedom and our money.

This is our arrogant rulers' idea of stimulating the economy.
