Scozzafava Endorses Democrat Owens, but Does Newt See the Light?
Posted by The MaryHunter at November 2, 2009 3:54 AM
In a move so lowly as to be completely expected, that still RINO but now former New York 23rd Congressional candidate Dede Scozzafava has endorsed Democrat candidate Bill Owens instead of Conservative party challenger Doug Hoffman in the upcoming election, trying desperately to toss her whopping 20% of support the way of Hope and Change.
Mrs. Scuzzyawfula calls Owens "the only candidate who can build upon [former Rep.] John McHugh's lasting legacy in the U.S. Congress." But in a CYA twist, former Scuzzyawfula spokesman Matt Burns spoke out against his former bosses endorsement when asked about it on a conference call with conservative bloggers Sunday night:
“That is not something I agreed with, henceforth, I’m participating on this call,” Mr. Burns said on a conference call that was arranged by the American Conservative Union political action committee.
“On Tuesday we only have once choice in selecting a candidate who will vote against Nancy Pelosi’s reckless agenda,” he said, speaking in favor of the Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman who he had campaigned against in the three-way race for New York's 23rd congressional open seat.
Perhaps he's looking for a potential job in the Hoffman congressional office. With a statement like that, one wonders what he was doing working for a lib in pig's clothing like this:

Political observers Ann Coulter and Kirsten Powers, from opposite ends of the spectrum, both agreed on Giraldo last night that this move by Scuzzyawfula will probably do little to shift voters to the Democrat who would not have voted for him already. Still, it was selfish sour grapes, just what one always must expect from the likes of the RINO pack (cf. Specter the Defector).
But did Newt get the message? Not so sure. When asked by the Washington Times why he supported the RINO Scozzafava in the first place, GOP apparatchik and doddering fool Newt Gingritch, who now supports Hoffman wholeheartedly, had this to say about Scozzafava's departure from the race, he said:
"I did not put party over principle. There was an issue of two principles."
"First, always endorse the more conservative, and second, respect local leaders and local decisions," Mr. Gingrich said. "When the 11 local county chairs unanimously endorsed someone after four public meetings, I did not think it was my place to repudiate the entire local party leadership."
He said Mr. Hoffman's "rise is a result of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Fox News, the Club for Growth, Gov. [Sarah] Palin and [Minnesota Gov. Tim] Pawlenty and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey and virtually the entire national conservative movement joining with Mike Long, whose Conservative Party, a very established organization, which won its first big race 39 years ago."
"This was not an isolated amateur; this is an entire movement." Mr. Gingrich said
While Cap'n Clueless Newt crawls under a rock to contemplate global warming for the next few decades, all we can do is hope that others in the Republican Party with his true blue devotion Conservative principles will stay as far away from local politics as possible, and let the aforementioned cadre of true Conservative leaders resuscitate this party… or dump it for a new one.

Today's Lesson from the "Book of Speaking Socialist"
1. Moderate = liberal
Tomorrow's lesson ideas:
"Bipartisan" a.) Liberal Way or No Way, b.)Any partisan can be bought.
"NeoSoc" a unique blend of Facism and Marxism, seasoned with Stalanist suppression of opposing views.
"Hope and Change" = Smoke and Mirrors

Hey Newt! The GOP spent OVER $900,000 trying to get this RINO elected. You should have learned a very valuable lesson for your $900,000!!!!! Apparently, you have not, you are now marginalized, and your bid for 2012 is now dead!
The Tree of Liberty will be watered tomorrow my friends! Watered in NJ, NY and VA! And that's just a down payment on 2012!!!

A clear and obvious proof that some low life politicians like Dede would put Republican after their name and be elected as democrats just to look bipartisan and to get more democrat votes. How disgusting and sneaky, at least the electorate will vote the right candidate in. The people are sick of Hopey Changey and the liberals are using political spies like Dede to get to their ends. Watch the local races and check for the candidates!

So, Pataki, himself not an ultra-conservative, actually raised $$ for Hoffman, and that was what put the nail into the coffin of the RINO Vampira of District 23?
Van Helsing, you have competition.

The nitwits running the RNC can respect the idiotic choices of local RINOS, but they do not have to endorse them, or waste national party money ($900,000 in this case) on promoting liberals running as Republicans. These people just don't get it. We do not need two Democrat parties. Just because the lunatics at the DNC are still lurching to the left, it does not mean that the Republican party should swerve to the left also. I guess Newt still has not figured out that his buddy John got his ass handed to him because he was too liberal, not too conservative.
