PelosiCare Will Force You to Pay for Abortions

Posted by Van Helsing at November 6, 2009 7:11 AM

Since the will of the people is clearly not a concern in the reckless left-wing legislation our rulers have been ramming through Congress, it should come as no surprise that PelosiCare finances abortion. The tab for snuffing out children's lives is to be picked up by every person enrolled in the government "option" — which of course will be mandatory after insurance companies have been deliberately driven into bankruptcy. Rep. John Boehner's office confirms:

Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life - not end it.
Unfortunately, Speaker Pelosi's 2,032-page government takeover of health care does just that. On line 17, p. 110, section 222 under "Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed" the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan. The Speaker's plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions.

By the way, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is known as the Abortion Queen.

What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan. It's right there on line 16, page 96, section 213, under "Insurance Rating Rules." The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account - and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.

Saddam Hussein used to send families of political prisoners who were shot by firing squad a bill for the ammunition expended. Forcing people who believe in the sanctity of innocent human life to finance abortions displays the same belligerent arrogance.

Taxpayers aren't the only ones with a stake in PelosiCare's defeat.

And nobody is surprised. Of course they'll stick it in there. They would have anyway at 3:00 in the morning on Saturday. The whole thing is an abomination. What the hell has happened to our country?

The liberals are ready to compromise on everything except tort reform and abortion. Killing babies and looting the taxpayers, what a beautiful mentality these crooks have.

So much for 'choice'. I wonder why it is that when a woman wants to kill something inside her body they vehemently defend the right to decide because it is her body. But when it comes to healthcare they will decide what procedures we can or cannot have done on our bodies.

I also wonder if someone chooses the public option if they can choose to get out of it later or is it like organized crime, once in, in for life.

Slightly off-topic... but has anyone else noticed that Fred Dawes has a pathological obsession with monkeys? I mean, almost every one of his posts has to have "monkey" tossed in there somewhere.

If he's not nuts, something seems a little fishy...

Woo-Hoo! Now, if I could only find another woman to knock up, I'd be good to go.

Abortion will be available with federal funding just as it is now in military hospitals. Except it's not called an abortion. Just like in pre-Roe vs Wade days, it'll be a D&C. From wikipedia: Dilation (dilatation) and curettage refers to the dilation (opening) of the cervix and surgical removal of the contents of the uterus. ...
