The Age of Obama has given the mainstream media more than enough rope to hang itself — which it may have done definitively by siding with demented Islamic terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan in the wake of the 13 murders he committed at Fort Hood, actually attempting to portray this jihadist fiend as somehow the victim. I made the point about Americans with German last names killing Germans in WWII to my family right before I listened to the tape, wherein Goldberg says it, too. Not only that, but American Lutherans killed German Lutherans. Let's not forget, as well (even though the MSM is desperate for us to) that in the Middle East, Muslims kill Muslims on a daily basis with impunity, and no apparent hand wringing about Allah's opinion of their actions. It's only when they plant themselves in Europe or America that they are suddenly overcome with conscience about their Muslim brethren.
Bernie Goldberg is right about the MSM losing traction with Americans, because their arguments seem so cherry picked and willfully obtuse, and will not hold up under the first measure of common sense scrutiny. There is no draft. Hasan did not have to join. He didn't have to stay. He wasn't forced to allow the military to pay for his medical school degree.
True assimilation means making this country your own, above all others. If you can't do that, don't make America your home.

Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan: 13 kills and 30 wounded in roughly less than 5 minutes.
I'd say the Army would have been wasting this bastard in the rear under some sandy tent showing ink blots to troops in Afghanistan.
They should have put his ass on the frontline where all the troops behind him had guns too. See if he would have turned and started fragging his fellow Army soldiers then and had the same results. I guarantee he wouldn't have been on a vent afterward.
