Can you tell me what ANY color has to do with liking someone?

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 9:26 AM

I love it, "the above is a PC Guy", I Understand what the monkey is in the former white house and that monkey from africa is a real black Hitler that monkey called obama is our real enemy.
He set us all up for mass murder in the coming years.
We all need to become racists becuase all balcks and browns and yellows are Racists and that is why most whites will end-up as shit after being eaten.

well Burt - when a black person says that he will only shop at stores that are owned by blacks......

quiz: which statement is racist (both are true)

1) I don't like Obama because he is black

2) I don't like Obama because he is white

Posted by: eat me at November 17, 2009 9:51 AM

ANY criticism of the Sphincter-In-Chief is called racist to silence all critics.

Posted by: Uncle Tom at November 17, 2009 10:10 AM

His race has NO bearing on my opinion of his politics. I strongly dislike his politics. Whether we'd get along otherwise is a matter to "be determined", but his socialist brand of government is 100% wrong, in my not-so-humble opinion. And, I'd say the very same thing if he was GREEN.

Posted by: Dell at November 17, 2009 10:23 AM

I don't like him and it has nothing to do with him being black. IMO he's a black nationalist that hates white people and hold us in complete contempt.

I've decided I'm going to start telling the press when they interview me at tea parties rallies that I'm black and muslim (which is a bold face lie) and see how differently they treat me.

Maybe I'll get a picture with Obama or the SIEU thugs. Sarc/off

Both are truly racist and the same can be applied to the following:

1) I like Obama because he is black

2) I like Obama because he is not white

There are more than a few people that voted for Obama because he is black or because he is not white. I'm still not sure why the man doesn't play up the fact that he is actually mixed race. He seems to choose "black" for the obvious race based politics advantage so prevalent today but by favoring one over the other doesn't that suggest a racial preference of sorts? He could easily point that he is the product of both races and put to rest some of the stigma still applied (by some) to mixed race relationships, but that opportunity was discarded.

Not stepping up and representing himself as he truly is - mixed race - shows that he is not a leader but an opportunistic politician before anything else.

Thanks for proving our point Burt.

To Liberals: persons of color = good, white people = bad

To Conservatives, It is ideas, attitudes, actions, and personal/professional associations that determine good or bad. Color is irrelevant.

Posted by: nancz at November 17, 2009 11:45 AM

Amusing to see someone utterly twist my point of view to try to back up theirs.

Persons of ANY color might be good or they might be bad.

People who are Conservatives, Liberals, moderates, the extreme right or extreme left are not racist if they believe It is ideas, attitudes, actions, and personal/professional associations that determine good or bad. Color is irrelevant.

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 11:50 AM

No kidding, Burt. I think everyone here with the possible exception of Fred already knows that. The point being made by the sign is that when you say you don't like Obama, the knee jerk liberal reaction is "You're a racist." Isn't possible that we just loathe his malignant narcissism? It is, after all, a disorder that knows no color boundaries.

Posted by: Judith M. at November 17, 2009 11:59 AM

Barry reminds me of Il Duce - the same narcissitic poses and attitudes, the same pig ignorance of economics, the same statist/fascist world-view, etc., etc.

One can only hope he winds up (figuratively) like Il Duce. I'd love to see him back on the South Side in a brownstone two-flat for the rest of his useless life.

Posted by: TrickleUpPolitics at November 17, 2009 2:20 PM

You cite Obama's "malignant narcissism" and notice he stands with his chin up. What the heck is that supposed to signify on a day to day policy level?

How much whining have we also seen about Obama bowing? Well gee, if he's such a "malignant" narcissist shouldn't he be demanding people bow to him?

That fantasy has grown out of the whole "Obama=messiah" theory that the right concocted early in the campaign. The right pumped out that theme over and over while the left just laughed. Please try to get your talking points in synch and add a dash of substance.

So are you saying that when the parishioners repeatedly chant "Hear our cry Obama" and "Deliver us Obama," that that's not praying?

Or perhaps I should have just posted the straight YouTube link so the bias in the Brietbart headlines wouldn't affect opinions?

Sure some on the left went overboard with their Obama enthusiasm but exactly the same can be said about some on the right and their Palin enthusiasm.

Really? Can you point to any specific examples, such as this:

Big Brother, Obama-Style

That classic image of Uncle Sam forcefully advising draft-aged young men and all Americans to support the war effort actually dated back to the First World War.

It has been superseded in the Age of Obama with the Orwellian image of Big Obama Brother cautioning the citizens of Oceania to be on their toes because he’s watching every move they make.

Orwell’s Big Brother presided over Oceania’s unending wars with Eurasia and Eastasia but the Obama Big Bro isn’t concerned with war and certainly isn’t perturbed by any war on terrorism since terrorism doesn’t exist.

His designs involve waging battle against the minds, hearts, spirits, and freedoms of his subjects.

And Obama’s Big Brother isn’t kidding!

Cross Obama’s version of Big Bro or make the Obamassiah cross in any manner, shape, or form, and your arse will be grass and either the Executive Branch or one of its congressional minions will take you out.

Or, try to.

For example:

Papists, Beware! The Catholic Church had the impertinence to challenge Obama’s lies on the inclusion of abortion coverage in Obamacare. As a consequence of its insolence, it’s in the cross hairs of Obama’s Big Bro!

The Church was more politic than Rep. Joe Wilson and didn’t confront the president on national television by validly charging, “You lie!” and simply apprised Obama that it begged to disagree on what Obamacare included.

That was enough for congressional lackey, Lynn Woolsey, (D, CA), to threaten those insolent papists with revocation of the I.R.S. tax-exempt status of the Catholic Church.

It’s a toothless threat . . .

Hey, those are sites published by the worshipful left, not me. I can't help it how it makes them look.

But that response doesn't really answer my questions though, does it?

J please, silly people do silly things and the Democratic Party, liberals and the left in general is not responsible nor do they endorse any of it.

Over and over again, this site links some aberration done by someone left of center and then tries to claim that everyone left of center supports it and believes it. It's complaining about fluff and it's phony and you know it.

I'm not going to scour the web to find Palin sites that are likely just as silly. I could care less.

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 3:56 PM

Here, how about this, Chris Mathews closing his eyes and talking a spiritual place when he thinks about Obama:

Over and over again, this site links some aberration

Do you have any idea how funny this phrase is?

I'm not going to scour the web to find Palin sites that are likely just as silly.

Who's scouring? The cultish behavior of Obamunist worshipers is posted all over the internet, it's not hard to find. Even leftist icon Luis Farrakahn dubbed Obama as the Messiah:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OowxMcVTjTE

The fact of the matter, is there aren't any Palin sites that are just as silly, and you know it.

No, you would be incorrect. It's not the leg tingle.

It's just as I stated, Chris Mathews talks about finding a spiritual place when he closes his eyes and thinks about Obama. No more, no less.

I guess you have no idea how much of a laughing stock Tweety became on the left thanks to that remark.

No, it never would have occurred to me since this kind of exaltation of Obama seems to typify those in the leftist media. Here, take a look at some of the images of Obama they've published:

I DO care about Palin herself, what she has said and continues to say, and what may be her assent to the leadership of a new conservative party. That interests me a lot.

RE: Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 4:24 PM

Palin hasn't ascended or assented to it.

What I find utterly amazing is that no one on the so called "progressive / inclusive" Left can ever find anything good to say about Sarah Palin.

This is a self-made woman from humble beginnings that didn't go to elite schools, yet she has had a successful career as a businesswoman, political and community leader, and even did a stint as a broadcast journalist. She has a successful marriage and family life, and is an accoplished outdoorswoman (in a state where that can sometimes be a matter of survival), and also found time to do the girly-girl thing and place respectably well in the Miss Alaska pageant.

Like her or hate her, it's pretty d#mn hard to NOT have at least some respect for her.

The fact that the Political Left has nothing at all good to say about this person and her accomplishments is very telling. She should be the freakin' POSTER GIRL for the women's rights movement if any of their old rhetoric was ever true......but she's not.

That tells us a lot......and it's not too flattering for the Left.

I did ponder, it but the fact of the matter is, there isn't much to it, as is evidenced by your refusal to answer my very simple questions, like this one:

Why are the links are silly?

I mean, how many votive candles with Obama printed on them does one need to see before it constitutes proof?

Tony before you talk about someone on the right being a poster girl for women's rights, perhaps you should slide on over to the "Jihad Lawyer" thread and read all the enlightened comments.

How many of them are about substance and how many of them are about ugly? That too is very typical, and not too flattering for the right.

I have no problem acknowledging respect for the way Palin has sold her brand. I expect most people here had very little idea who she was a year and a half ago. None of us can say that now.

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 4:49 PM

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 4:49 PM

And you are one to be talkin'. The problem with you lefties is that you have NO sense of humor. Who cares about that waste of a breath treasonous lawyer. What's to defend about her? She's treasonous trash!

Look what you lefty ass wipes are doing to Palin just because you dipshits are afraid of a woman that is far smarter than you idiots.

Hypocrisy abounds with you leftard imbeciles.

Posted by: Dave at November 17, 2009 4:59 PM

I should amplify. By "her brand" I was meaning developing name recognition. Obviously she gets top marks there.

When it come to quality of product, equally obviously, she has a lot of work to do.

Posted by: Burt at November 17, 2009 5:01 PM

The jihad lawyer. What a dish! The fact that she is a traitor makes her even more appealing. And I am as gay as dad's old hatband!

"What I find utterly amazing is that no one on the so called "progressive / inclusive" Left can ever find anything good to say about Sarah Palin."

Camille Paglia had some nice things to say about Palin, but then again Paglia is one of the few leftists who seems to have a modicum of intellectual honesty.

New Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Flavor

In honor of the 44th President of the United States,

Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new

flavor: "Barocky Road."

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate,

and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla

portion of the mix is not openly advertised and

usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and

flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.

The cost is $100.00 per scoop.

When purchased it will be presented to you in a

large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is

taken away and given to the person in line behind

you. You are left with an empty wallet and no change,

holding an empty cone with no hope of getting

any ice cream.

Are you stimulated?
