This is off topic but this needs to be posted right now.

Last night I had an employee get into my office and commandeer my computer. I caught him posting racist posts about black kids on one of the threads here. In no way what he posted are my views. What he did was irresponsible and childish. I have reprimanded him for his actions and he is now facing a suspension for 7 full business days. I will not tolerate such vile and idiotic behavior from any of my employees. I hope that all that come here, left and right, would accept my apologies for this incident. I am embarrassed and upset that one of my staff would do such a thing.

Please accept my apology for this idiot and rest assured that he will not have access to my computer again.

It'll be small ball from here - little legislative tweaks and a lot of speeches.

And that health care bill will yield to you exactly the same thing that it will yield to conservatives: higher costs, less coverage, less choice. It'll be no better for you than for us. It will suck for all of us. If you need an MRI or a transplant, you will go on the same waiting list as a conservative. Your case will be reviewed by the same bureaucrat as a conservative. If you can't make do with that, you'll have to get elected to congress.

Hope you are happy with that. This is the Dem's high water mark. Congress will protect its man-child president by passing this bill. After that, nothing.

I too am single, educated (B.A. in History, working on my Masters in Divinity), with a modest amount stored away, and no kids, and I wouldn't even think of wishing such a thing on my country.
As others here have pointed out, at the very least, you should get off your butt and do something to help your community, so you can be part of the solution, rather than part of the problems. Serve food in a homeless shelter, organize a clothing drive, anything just so you can, God forbid, do something meaningful with your life that helps others, rather than gloating over their pain.
For instance, I myself volunteer twice a week at a church's youth program, helping to lead a small- group Bible study for middle- school age boys to help them learn to live more meaningful, Godly lives. What are you doing to help your fellow man?
Besides, much of what caused our current economic crisis was due to liberalism, not conservatism. For instance, the housing crisis was caused by a lot of banks granting a lot of high- risk mortgage loans to a lot of people who they knew would be incapable of paying them back. Why, then, did the banks approve such risky loans that they knew they wouldn't be paid back for? It's because they were FORCED to, by policies such as the Community Reinvestment Act that Obama and the other Senate Democrats passed in the name of "Social Justice."
For another example, consider how Barney Frank and other corrupt Senate Dems were willing to allow Fannie and Freddie to grow even more bloated, even as Bush, McCain and other Republicans recognized the dangers and tried to warn people about them.
