Let This Be a Warning to Sarah Palin Fans
Posted by The MaryHunter at November 22, 2009 5:30 AM
Alarum! Alarum! to those awaiting Sarah Palin book signings or other events: folks wielding cameras and questions may not be who they seem.
Take, for example, these liberal bloggers. They may start off sounding interested and sympathetic, but these dipstick MoveOn.org lackeys have an agenda: to make Palin fans look as dumb as they think Palin is.
(Caution: some colorful language)
As noted by HotAirPundit:
Just like at the tea parties, the left show up acting like they are fellow supporters, there's alot of reports that there were liberals at the Noblesville Indiana book signing too...
This seems to be happening more and more, these guys here eventually got the police called on them...All the Sarah Palin websites should take note.
Hat tip: HotAirPundit, on a kindly tip from SK.
Comments
Gee, that guy is already just like the MSM: ask loaded questions and then answer them too! Insulting his fellow citizens. What fun for a liberal! So morally superior! And such an erudite vocabulary!

What surprised me? A woman who said she was press AND she was a conservative. Wow. They exist.
Posted by: TrickleUpPolitics at November 22, 2009 6:14 AM
Hmmmm...
Are we maybe a wee bit petrified? Maybe all the way to the bone?
And we all so how well that worked for Norah O'Donnell, didn't we?
Posted by: Fuzzlenutter at November 22, 2009 6:27 AM
Do leftards have nothing better to do? Sadly, no.
Posted by: V the K at November 22, 2009 6:32 AM
What was that the neo-commie trolls said? "We're NOT afraid of Palin"?
Oh no? then why all the HATCHET JOBS?
Posted by: KHarn at November 22, 2009 6:36 AM
Extremely edited. Notice all the half answers and then the vid pans automatically to someone else. And if I was there, that hippy would have his camera shoved up his ass.

Typical Letterman-Loving Lizard-Like Lying Loopy Loony Lobotomized Lemming-Like Leftie Loser nonsense.
If we were to run all the videos of the ignorant Obama supporters that made statements about 'Obama gonna pay my mortage an'gas', they'd say we were being either "Raaaaaacist" or overly selective. They say the same thing when we run the videos made by Steve Crowder and others showing that your typical Obama cultist / pseudoprogressive doesn't even know who Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden is.
I'm not a Howard Stern fan, but he had some interviews where he presented various Conservative / Republican platform items (abortion, et al) as Obama's policies, and even told a few that Sarah Palin was an Obama supporter....and the Obamamaniacs all agreed with anything attributed to the Teleprompter Messiah.
We can also show the vids of the ignorant, uninformed envirowhackos who want to ban H2O, the Folsom street fair, of Black Panthers harassing voters, Obama's union thugs threatening and assaulting people, etc.
The typical neofascist / socialist / homoleftist / pseudoprogressive reaction is to say, "Unfair", or, "They don't represent us", the same way Barack Obama disowned "Reverend" Wright when the racist commie b#stard was caught red-handed (pun intended) spouting his anti-American hatred.
We did some training films at work last year that included a lot of employee interviews. Anyone who has ever participated in this sort of thing can tell you that even when people are experts on the subject they are talking about (technical or otherwise), many just do not come off as well-spoken when you put them in front of a camera.
We should give a break to anyone who does not interview particularly well - but we simply cannot excuse the hatred and ignorance of the Left.

Our Floridian friend KHarn asks, "What was that the neo-commie trolls said? "We're NOT afraid of Palin"?
Oh no? then why all the HATCHET JOBS?"
Good point, K - Sarah Palin is not in office, nor is she running for one - she's just a popular author with a Twitter account, yet the Left is utterly TERRIFIED of her.
We've already devoted lots of time to the various reasons why this is....but add to it this: Sarah Palin actually IS all of the things the Democrats claim to be, but aren't - and never were, and never will be.

Someone earlier brought up the view that they don't so much fear her as they dispise her as the icon of fly-over territory. She's "middle class" and not Ivy League. She's a successful working Mom and not an ugly man-aphobic lesbian bra burner. She's everything the majority of "America" is and people see and feel that.
Which why 'we' love her and 'they' dispise her. This woman is a litmus test with really obvious results/reactions.

O'Reilly: "Let me be bold and fresh again. Do you believe you are smart enough, and incisive enough, intellectual enough, to handle the most powerful job in the world?"
Palin: "I believe that I am because I have common sense, and I have, I believe, the values that are reflective of so many American values. And I believe that what Americans are seeking is not the elitism, the, um, the, ah -- kind of spineless -- a spinelessness that perhaps is made up for that with elite Ivy League education and -- fact resume that's based on anything but hard work and private-sector, free-enterprise principles. Americans could be seeking something like that in positive change in their leadership. I'm not saying that that has to be me."

What makes her most qualified is this: she is NOT Obama. Being president is a learn as you go job. She will pick up the rest of it along the way. I bet these douche bags got some kick ass answers from the crowd which were of course edited out to serve their commie agenda.
Posted by: grayjohn at November 22, 2009 10:00 AM
"You can't have your country back". Yeah sure smart guy. Keep on believing that, now run and get yourself a latte.

"What makes her most qualified is this: she is NOT Obama."
Good one. Everyone else in the U.S.A. is "not Obama". That means Palin has a low bar to jump.
Posted by: Burt at November 22, 2009 10:33 AM
I like that concept that if your a drunk driver you get your keys taken away and you can't have your country back.
But then, I guess that applies to the Skidmark in Chief more than anyone else this century. The peanut farmer comes close, but no cigar (sorry Bubba).

Duke says, "I like that concept that if your a drunk driver you get your keys taken away and you can't have your country back.
Unless you're a Kennedy, Duke. THEN you get raised (?) to the level of Democratic ROYALTY.
Posted by: TonyD95B at November 22, 2009 11:19 AM
The guy interviewing these people is a total douchebag! It's no wonder the left hates Palin so much; she's pretty, conservative and can you name ANYONE on the left that arouses this much passion? No way an Obama supporter, of which there are fewer every day, would sit in the rain and cold overnight for the chance to have a book signed by him. The left is totally correct when they say Palin is dangerous!
Posted by: Nora at November 22, 2009 11:30 AM
But the left isn't fascist.
They just like stalking Sarah Palin and her supporters both online and in the real world.
Posted by: J at November 22, 2009 11:56 AM
Oh man you talk about evil faced crazies
Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at November 22, 2009 12:17 PM
Well, they did a good job of it....
Posted by: DEO at November 22, 2009 12:21 PM
Well considering Obama got elected because he was not Bush, he had an even lower bar. That and misplaced white guilt.
Posted by: SK at November 22, 2009 12:42 PM
I could have sworn that Bush was not running in that last Presidential election.
Posted by: Burt at November 22, 2009 1:02 PM
I could have sworn that Bush was not running in that last Presidential election.
I can see how you could be confused, considering Obama ran against McCain with the "3rd Bush Term" approach.
But let's be clear, Obama was elected by the good graces of Independents who thought that voting for a black man with a name like an Islamofascist would alleviate their white guilt.
Posted by: J at November 22, 2009 1:22 PM
I thought they voted for Obama because he was the better candidate.
Posted by: Burt at November 22, 2009 1:38 PM
I thought they voted for Obama because he was the better candidate.
No. They voted for Obama because they thought he was the better candidate. They're learning different now.
Actually, it's not such a bad thing. We need a total doofus as President every 20-30 years to vaccinate another generation against mindless liberalism. Jimmy Carter was my vaccination; Barack Obama is going to be yours.
Posted by: Jay Guevara at November 22, 2009 2:06 PM
I thought they voted for Obama because he was the better candidate.
That would be incorrect, as is evidenced by his first year in office.
Posted by: J at November 22, 2009 2:27 PM
I thought they voted for Obama because he was the better candidate.
If a white guy who had been senator for 143 days and furthermore had a history of consorting with communist radicals had announced he was running for president, he would have been laughed out of the primaries.
But for some reason, radical associations and complete lack of a resume were overlooked when it came to Barack Obama. I wonder why.
Posted by: Anonymous at November 22, 2009 2:38 PM
Though, granted, the Republicans did nominate the worst possible guy to run against the iWon.
Posted by: Anonymous at November 22, 2009 2:43 PM
Just a bunch of Left Wing assholes with a video camera.
Posted by: Angel Elf at November 22, 2009 2:59 PM
BURT, when your boy Hopey McChange was asked what executive experience was, he said that RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT was his "executive experience". Shouldn't that have tipped you off that he was a beginer, or do you believe that learning to be Chief Executive can be accomplished by on the job training?
You better stop looking at his SKIN COLOR and face reality.
Posted by: KHarn at November 22, 2009 7:47 PM
Well then, once again, let's see how Ms. Palin answered that question:
Posted by: Burt at November 22, 2009 8:34 PM
Here's what you do...you ever notice sh*ts like this at a convention or book signing or meeting that you're at? Gain their trust, take them back to an undisclosed destination.
Posted by: Corona at November 22, 2009 8:48 PM
"Actually, it's not such a bad thing. We need a total doofus as President every 20-30 years to vaccinate another generation against mindless liberalism. Jimmy Carter was my vaccination; Barack Obama is going to be yours."
I'm 23, so I don't know how it felt to be a citizen during Carter's time. Did it feel like it does under Obama--that the center could not hold? If so, I'm encouraged..maybe all is not lost.
PS. Burt-comparison's a bitch. Be careful not to accidentally start a war of dumb Palin vs. dumb Obama quotes.
You'll lose
Posted by: Teej at November 22, 2009 9:42 PM
Glad you agree her response was dumb.
Posted by: Burt at November 22, 2009 9:46 PM
"Well then, once again, let's see how Ms. Palin answered that question:"
Here we go again, Burty. How many times do you leftists have to be reminded that Palin was not running for President. You keep on forgetting that Biden was the VP nominee. Of course, to be fair, if I were a Democrat, I would want to forget that, too.
Posted by: Judith M. at November 22, 2009 10:41 PM

ITA, IOpian.

Judith, that Palin quote came from her recent interview with O' Reilly.
Posted by: Burt at November 23, 2009 1:48 PM
...that Palin quote came from her recent interview with O' Reilly.
At this point, she's still not running for President.

Just your typical Liberal Network news reporting style. Asked a loaded question, make a 3rd-grader retort, then edited out any part that goes against the prescripted story line.
Question is: How many times did these Chris Matthews wannabes have to:
a) ask their loaded questions to catch a few rabbits?
b) have to edit out respondents who made them look ignorant?
