KSM, Holder and Obama: Is there Any Hope for Justice?

Posted by The MaryHunter at November 17, 2009 6:10 AM

Once again, real slow this time.

The man who brought you this:

september 11

could now very likely get one of these:

GetOutOfJailFree.jpg

because of these two men:

eric-holder-barack-obama.jpg

With all the expected legal motions and delays from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's to-be-named ACLU lawyer team, this trial may not even start for another 3 years. By that time, Our Dear Leader will either be out of office, or safely re-elected. Therefore, Obama-Mao may well have no true accountability for this affront to Justice.

If you're still stunned and saddened at the prospects of justice NOT being served, there is a possible up-side for the trial being in Manhattan:

For those who believe this is a very bad decision with little upside for America, the best we might hope for is that the judge is a Jewish woman. That would be sweet revenge for these misogynist anti-Semites.

PSA: See Michael Goldfarb's information on how you might be able to fight Atty. Gen. Holder's nefarious decision.

Four things are going to happen here:

1) This will be a six month long circus of "It's all Bush's fault!" which will happen just in time for the election. In my opinion, this is why B. Hussein Obama mmm mmm mmm is making this public in the first place.

2) Some Carter or Clinton appointee judge will throw out most of the evidence because this walking POS wans't mirandized.

3) Some dickhead liberal dweeb (NY is full of them) will decide to "teach Bush a lesson!" and "speak truth to power!" by voting not guilty no matter what the evidence shows

4) A muslim will get on the jury and vote not guilty because, after all, NOBODY in their group could POSSIBLY do anything like this.

This country is over and out.

Posted by: steve at November 17, 2009 6:28 AM

If a jury includes peers, all it would take is another sympathetic muslim to throw a monkey wrench into the conviction process.

What a circus.

Posted by: RICH at November 17, 2009 6:30 AM

all it would take is another sympathetic muslim to throw a monkey wrench into the conviction process.

Or a 9-11 Troofer. Imagine a jury being hung by one tinfoil hatter who insists (as 35% of Democrats believe or suspect) that George W. Bush was the real mastermind behind 9-11.

Posted by: V the K at November 17, 2009 6:39 AM

A jury of KSM's peers would include only radical Islamic terrorists.

Never quite understood that "jury of their peers" thing. When they talk about "peer reviews" in science, they talk about reviews by other scientists.

If a guy is drug dealer his peers would be other drug dealers. The same with murderers, rapists, ect.

And they also talk about unbiased juries. Everyone has biases - just watch the old classic "12 Angry Men".

I sure would hate to be the bailiffs bringing the piece of shit in every day. I bet sniper fire will be all over trying to bag the muzzy. Course New York could fix its deficit problems by issuing hunting permits.

Posted by: Stephana at November 17, 2009 6:54 AM

KSM will be brought in hidden in a armored vehicle - there will likely be decoy vehicles so people outside wont know where KSM is. Its not like hes going to walk up the courthouse steps. Now if only one of his guards would take one for Team America and put a bullet in his head, this farce would be overwith. What jury would find the guard guilty?

Remember how the leftards were crowing about how 60% of Americans don't like Sarah Palin? I wonder how many of them will be citing this poll that shows 64% of Americans oppose trying KSM in a civilian court.

Posted by: V the K at November 17, 2009 7:34 AM

I think Steve's got it.

These lefties are so-o-o-o-o consumed with their own wonderfulness and hate for President Bush they are quite willing to free this POS for the opportunity to piss on President Bush one more time.

There's going to be a reckoning... sooner or later. Preferably sooner.

Posted by: chuck in st paul at November 17, 2009 7:41 AM

It took only one hold-out on the Moussaoui jury to keep him from getting the death penalty.

NY is full of deranged liberals. I hope the judge is not a Jewish woman; in NYC chances are she'll belong to Code Pink or the ACLU.

Trying KSM with even just the potential that he might be acquitted is a huge victory for AQ and a terrible defeat for the U.S. Which needless to say, along with the incompetence at Ground Zero, dramatically compounds 9-11.

Liberals will crawl out from every rock in the country to try help with the KSM defense. This will significantly elevate the chance of a dismissal or an acquittal.

Next will be a liberal website(s) that will track the trial with lists of Government procedural mistakes and legal technicalities that could be used for an acquittal, dismissal or the inevitable appeal.

Electing BO as "president" has truly been the most contemptible event in this country's history.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 7:58 AM

Campaign ad - 2012: "But, you MUST reelect me! The KSM trial is about to begin and Eric Holder - MY Attorney General - MUST head the prosecution team!! If you don't reelect me, KSM will go FREE!"

I can see it now.....

V the K,

Good point. A few of my friends believe in a 911 conspiracy, impending climate catastrophy, and that humans are an alien experiment.

Oh yeah, they are also Obama supporters.

Shocker.

Posted by: RICH at November 17, 2009 8:10 AM

Fiberal, I'm more concerned with the defense lawyers and liberals releasing everything the defense learns through discovery. This has got to just help our intelligence-gathering efforts tremendously in places like Afghanistan and Pakistan. Sarc/off.

Posted by: UpNorth at November 17, 2009 8:11 AM

The trial may not begin for a few years, but I'm sure that our money is being spent on it even now.

I hope someone is going to keep track of it, including all cash expected to be recovered for defense expenses by the ACLU and others.

That should be a nice seven figures by 2012.

Posted by: Cluebat from Exodar at November 17, 2009 8:11 AM

UpNorth,
Very real concern.
Intelligence revealed during the "blind sheik" trial told Bin Laden what we knew about his operations.

This was most likely a link toward 9-11.

Unintended (possibly -hard to say with liberals) consequences of a civilian trial for a terrorist.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 8:20 AM

the best we might hope for is that the judge is a Jewish woman.

Not necessarily. Remember that the majority of Jews still vote anti-Israel Democrat.

Our money will be spent on this farce for the next three years (enriching only the sleazy lawyers), KSM will walk no matter what, and A-Q will attack again in a way that makes 9/11 look tame by comparison. We are indeed screwed.

And for everyone who voted for the anti-American, racist, affirmative action inexperienced Obama POS and his criminal commie cronies, FU

With a jerk like ERIC HOLDER will they end up with a jury of all AL QEUDA radicals?

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at November 17, 2009 8:51 AM

To answer the headline question: Yes, at long last.

To list some of the concerns noted above:

- liberals and Muslims on the jury
- sniper fire
- liberals will lobby for aquittal
- terrorism intelligence will be revealed

Did any of this happen or prevent convictions of the 20th highjacker or the shoe bomber?

It looks like for the duration of this trial, the far right will be trying to outdo each other by concocting paranoid fantasies. Once KSM is convicted though, we can expect some new ones to emerge. Here, let me help you:

- it took too long
- it cost too much
- he should have been killed years ago
- how come he got ten lives in jail and not the death penalty?
- he got the death penalty, how come he's still in jail, kill him now!
- A terrorist in Yemen killed an American thanks to information he got from this trial
- and on, and on, and on.

No Miranda, No trial. Coming to a tower near you.
Can WE THE PEOPLE begin impeachment now?
2010/2012/2013

Posted by: czuch at November 17, 2009 9:03 AM

The Kostards are delighted. They think a civilian KSM trial gives the finger to Bush... which is all they care about.

Posted by: V the K at November 17, 2009 9:06 AM

1) libscum seem intent on redefining the meaning of the word 'War.' To them, 'War' can only be waged between two Governments.

How incredibly absurd. Very often, the conflict at hand is an insurrection or an insurgency. Since when do they establish 'Governments' before they set off on their quest to destabilize and topple an elected or even an unelected Government?

Stupidity. Even the Good Judge, Andrew Napolitano, thinks this is the case. And he's usually fairly Conservative. Which just shows why lawyers should never hold elective office.

Perhaps the good Judge should take the time to read the Geneva Convention. It spends much of its time addressing non-government-sponsored combatants.

Freaking morons. Lawyers. Every one of them -- Morons.

2) If the jihadists want to make a big splash (they always do) they could easily organize a suicidal raid on the Courthouse where the trials are being held. How tough would that be? Not very.

Once inside, they could (and would) take hostages by the dozen and start making demands.

Think it can't be done? Think again. What chance would Law Enforcement types have against miliary-trained insurgents with military weapons?

Try......?? Ummmm -- None? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Over before it even started. Lots of dead LEOs, bleeding and dying civilians all over the place, have to call in the Swat Team, the FBI, etc. Meanwhile, Johnny Jihad is murdering hostages. Them boys ain't gonna play. As far as they're concerned, they're already dead. So what do they have to lose?

The above is my biggest fear. Not KSM getting let go or his making us look like idiots. We already look like idiots, AFAIC. Who elected The Obamunist? Martians?

Anyways, KSM and his minions commited an act of War -- Terrorism. They should be fairly tried in a fair Military Tribunal and hanged with a new rope.

Fairly, of course.

Lawyers. What a bunch of douchebags. Put the American People at risk so they can get some TV 'face-time'?

Typical

"Did any of this happen or prevent convictions of the 20th highjacker"- yes, a single juror prevented Moussoui from getting the death penalty.

"terrorism intelligence will be revealed" - yes; see above on Bin Laden.

"liberals will lobby for aquittal" - I did not say that liberals will lobby, although that's conceivable. But can you picture any situation in which any liberal organization would assist the prosecutor? Keep in mind that Holder worked hard to successfully suppress computer-held evidence in the case of Moussoui.

In addition, liberals BO and Holder have now provided unprecedented aid and comfort to the enemy by granting KSM a civilian trial; with all the legal factors coming in to play in a civilian court weighted toward acquittal of an accused in our automatic legal presumption of innocence. Any war criminal tried under the Geneva Conventions would not get this advantage.

The operating term here is "enemy".
This is a word that is not understood by the present administration.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 9:22 AM

Krauthammer:

On the day he sent KSM to a civilian trial in New York, he announced he would send five of the miscreants who attacked the Cole, a warship, to a military trial in Guantanamo or perhaps elsewhere.
Now, what is the logic here? Holder was asked about this, and to the extent that he was coherent, which is only to a small extent, he said: Well, if you attack a civilian target, as in 9/11, then you go to a civilian court; a military target like the Cole, to a military [court].
First of all, the Pentagon was hit on 9/11, so it wasn't exclusively a civilian attack. But perhaps Holder forgot about that.

Posted by: V the K at November 17, 2009 9:56 AM

V the K,
This administration will say anything no matter how intellectually bankrupt.

The best one can give them is that they make decisions from impulse without reference to consequence, reflection or common sense, and bc it is They who have made the decision, out of an overwhelming sense of their own importance, the decision must be good.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 10:13 AM

And BTW it has been found that criminals that commit impulsive crimes, do it with the personal confidence that they can't be caught.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 10:17 AM

I'm sorry, but any New Yorker who is not opposed to bringing these terrorists to NY for trial deserves any and all future terrorist attacks in that city.

Yep, I said it.

Obviously liberals need more murdered US citizens before they will begin to face reality.

Posted by: Essaicheyetee-Bird at November 17, 2009 10:55 AM

Liberals by definition cannot face reality.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 17, 2009 11:08 AM

"Did any of this happen or prevent convictions of the 20th highjacker"-

First off, Moussaoia (sp?) was captured on American Soil. That makes him eligible for protections under the Constitution. The Constitution applies to the "People" of the United States. Nowhere does it mention 'Citizens.' So if you're ON American Soil when apprehended, you get the benefits of our Constition. (which is why Bush kept them OFF American Soil)

Also, if you ARE an American Citizen and you're captured by American Forces overseas, you are also entitled to our protections.

If you are a Legal Combatant captured overseas, you're entitled to GC protections, not Constitutional protections. If you're an illegal combatant, and you're caught overseas. You're entitled to be shot.

Period.

Might I suggest to some of you that you read the Geneva Conventions and which protocols we signed and refused to sign? Might I suggest you read the GC's definition of what a "Legal" combatant is?

Seriously. Some of these posts sound like a bunch of 3rd graders debating Special Relativity.

Posted by: Uncle Rick at November 17, 2009 11:18 AM

Uncle Rick

We're talking about liberal mitigation when penalizing a terrorist in a civilian court.
No one contested Moussoui's Constitutional rights.

KSM will not get a fair trial but his conviction will get turned over on appeal.

Once KSM is freed, Bush and his horrible administration will be completely humiliated.

And you conservative idiots can come here and whine like a bunch of little babies and spout your racist hatred of dark skinned people.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at November 17, 2009 3:59 PM

Bush/Cheney had Khalid Sheikh Mohammed for 5 years but dithered over what to do with him. They didn't have the balls so they passed the buck - much like they did with the troop requests for Afghanistan.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 17, 2009 4:28 PM

Right on, Anonymous! What we need now is to have a trial in the very city he helped to murder over 3000 people in and just let the troops just die in Afghanistan already.

Its not like Obama is president now and is in charge or anything. I mean, everything that is wrong in the world is Bush's fault. That is our mantra because that is reality.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at November 17, 2009 4:46 PM

What better place? It's too late for an 'accident' under interrogation. An execution without trial gives him the martyr status he wants. A public trial and conviction shows that the US respects law and justice rather than lynchings.
