Frau Merkel Needs to Do Her Climate Change Homework

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is in Washington DC today, preaching to the choir in a joint session of Congress about "that global warming/climate change/mankind is evil" thaaaang. While she and other "well-meaning" but thoroughly ignorant politicians and world leaders continue to try and outdo each other in enviro-greeno-dingbat activism, what they should be doing is actually looking up the facts about the farce of AGW, like JustA11en did.
JustA11en is just a simple, everyman kinda guy who has more sense in his little fingernail than Frau Merkel has in her, well, ...

The National Sea Change Taskforce, a parliamentary committee... concluded that urgent action was needed to safeguard the coast from seas that are expected to rise more than 31 inches this century.
Among the panel's recommendations were forced evacuations from coastal areas and a ban on new homes in regions considered to be at risk from flooding and rising seas.
That encompasses a massive area. Australia's major cities are all in coastal zones, as are the homes of some six million people living in rural and regional centres.
In total, 80 per cent of Australians live in coastal areas and 711,000 homes – worth $150 billion (£70bn) in total – lie within two miles of the sea...
However, the sweeping parliamentary report urged authorities to consider "the possibility of a government instrument that prohibits continued occupation of the land or future building development on the property due to sea hazard"...
Home owners in Byron Bay, on the north coast of New South Wales, are currently locked in battle with the local council, who has refused to let them reinforce sea walls that will protect their million-dollar properties.
The Greens-dominated local council has a policy of "planned retreat", which stipulates that homes under threat from the advancing ocean should be abandoned to the waves... The UN has predicted that sea levels will rise by at least 31 inches globally by 2100, more if greenhouse gases are not slowed and the polar ice caps melt.
