Eleanor Rodham Clift Has Faith in Holy Manbearpig

With the release of the East Anglia emails, it's pretty clear that Global Warming has as much basis in actual science as Scientology has in actual religion. i.e. Both cults were founded by charlatans as money-making schemes; and both rely on exploiting dumb, rich, egocentric celebrities to advance their cause. Al Gore and L. Ron Hubbard are the same guy. Ed Begley, Jr and Tom Cruise are the same guy.
And the cult metaphor is perfectly apt, and even a Global Warming True Believer like Eleanor Rodham Clift tacitly admits. Challenged by Pat Buchanan that there was no proof of Global Warming, her reply was, "It's no known proof there's God, either. How much proof do you need, Pat?"
If you're going to call it "science," and if you're going to piss away trillions of dollars in its name, I would say "Lots of proof. Oodles and boodles of proof. Incontrovertible proof."
Environmentalism is a religion. Global Warming is a cult. You read it here, first.
