"Diversity" Is Killing America and Americans

Posted by The MaryHunter at November 12, 2009 5:35 AM

There has been a lot of fabulous (and furious) writing from the Right in the wake of the Fort Hood terrorist massacre. This is not something to celebrate per se, but something for which to be thankful if it shines light on serious errors of judgment by the Army Brass and urges citizens to speak out against those inane government policies that allowed this horrific attack to occur.

Cal Thomas wrote two essays about the terror attack that explore the topic of "diversity", that artificial construct by the PC Police that means nothing to average Americans and everything to a bureaucrat interested in inflicting a left-wing, socialist, relativistic, anti-American agenda upon us. "Diversity" has become a code word for "intolerance of the Anglo-European, Judeo-Christian, democratic founding principles of this nation." "Diversity" also allows human pimples like Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to fester into gangrenous infections threatening our entire nation. "Diversity" then offers up excuses and tries to fix the problem through more "Diversity."

In a piece earlier this week in the Washington Times, Thomas wrote:

Suddenly, the issue of gays in the military doesn't seem as important as jihadists in the military.

Yes, indeedie.

And this morning:

Apparently, "diversity" is not for everyone, and even if it were, what does it mean? To those who wish to impose it, it seems to mean that no one can any longer speak of truth, or even seek it out, because according to the rules of diversity, there is no objective truth. Thinking so makes you a fundamentalist, unless you are a fundamentalist Muslim, in which case you are to be accommodated, pacified and given special rights - like ritual footbaths, prayer rooms and prayer times at public schools and universities that would probably be denied and challenged as violations of church-state separation if a Jew or a Christian were to make requests unique to their faiths.
I grow weary of having to tolerate everything when none of those making such demands seems willing to tolerate much of what I believe. Shouldn't diversity be a two-way street instead of a roadblock?

And we grow weary with him.

Cal Thomas is at his best when he says precisely those things that need to be said that few others will.

Will more U.S. military die from "friendly" fire as leaders make excuses for Muslim extremists?

True, but these days I notice those things are getting said a lot more frequently and publicly. People are starting to wake up to the fact that continuing to lie to ourselves will be a death sentence. How does a society solve it's problems when mentioning those problems is no longer considered fit for polite society?

Interesting point... muslims would never, ever make those concessions for a Christian and even less for a jew. You know there is a festering cancer in America when Liberal politics create racial classes and subclasses. They are ashamed of their own country.

This emphasis on diversity has disgusted me for years. We are not made stronger by emphasizing the things that separate us.
We should emphasize the things we have in common, no matter where we come from.

We were speaking about gays and islamist extremists in the military just last night - the glaring issue was how easily these soldiers would round up dissenters...

Like the stupid people that have that co-exist bumper sticker. How many of those bumber stickers would you see in Iran or Saudi Arabia?

You're all a bunch of racists. Just like the murderers that illegally invaded my country and killed my people all in the name of your precious 'democracy'.

While speaking about banks in 1802 Thomas Jefferson said, “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies." So apparently he had some apprehensions about standing armies. As do I.
