Chairman Zero to Begin Purging Republicans from Civil Service Jobs

Remember the massive tantrums thrown by the left when the Bush Administration fired a handful of U.S. Attorneys? Do you remember that? How the left howled endlessly about how terrible it was to fire these attorneys for "political" reasons? Remember how the Obamacrat Congress agreed this was a terrible, terrible misuse of power and demanded full investigations?
Amazing how on 01.20.2009, all the rules changed.
Under new (Obama Administration) rules, made retroactive for five years, the Office of Personnel Management will examine civil service employees who got their start as political appointees in the Bush administration and terminate those employees. The order is retroactive to 2004, that moment when a number of Republican congressional staffers and others sought to embed into the second Bush administration right after the election.

May as well set the precedent; the next administration is really going to have to clean house after these douchenozzles have fingerpainted all the walls with their own excrement.

A retroactive law? How is this possible, I thought there were protections against this sort of power grab. But then, I forgot, he won.

If they have become career Civil Service then Barry cannot get rid of them with the wave of the magic wand. See Title 5 of the US Code of Laws.
However, anyone who is still an appointee is at hazard.
Having said that... watch out for a bunch of scandalous attempts at hatchet jobs like Hitlery did to the Travel Office folks. I still don't know why she isn't in prison for that totally illegal act.
