Beck Bits: Illegal Aliens Do the Jobs Americans Won't Do -- NOT
Posted by The MaryHunter at November 28, 2009 8:50 AM
If every illegal alien left the country tomorrow, we'd still build new homes and grow fruit and (reluctantly) vegetables. How? By leveling the playing field. When Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) conducted raids on cheating employers who got ahead by hiring illegal workers and paying them illegal wages, some amazing things started to happen...
* Swift & Company meat-processing plants lost about nine percent of their workforce when they were raided in six states. After the raids, Swift raised their pay by almost two dollars an hour and hundreds of residents lined up the next day to take the jobs illegal aliens used to have.* Crider Inc., a chicken-processing company in Stillmore, Georgia, suddenly raised their pay to more than a dollar an hour over what they were paying illegal aliens. About 400 unemployed people showed up for interviews, half of whom were subsequently hired.
But you might say "Glenn - what will happen to consumer prices if corporations can't pay sub-par wages to illegal employees?" Not so fast. Illegals put far more of a financial burden on our nation than can be compensated for by slightly lower food prices:
Our nation spends more than $4.7 billion a year on health care for illegal aliens and California has been forced to close over 70 hospitals over the last ten years alone. About 17 percent of all those in federal prison are illegal aliens -- an astonishing number when you consider that they represent only three percent of the population. ... We're also spending about $30 billion each year to educate illegal aliens in our schools -- money we could probably use to figure out how to educate our own children since we're doing such a miserable job at it right now.

Comments
Naturally, the Communists who created the issue did so in order to destroy US sovereignty. They will blame Capitalism as being, deeply flawed and so on. When the cost of punishment is less than doing the right thing, greed takes over. Beck is apparently correct!

Its all part of the planned NORTH AMERICAN UNION from the sinister CFR and the UN as well
Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at November 28, 2009 12:48 PM
I've argued this exact point many times when GWB was spewing the nonsense that illegals were doing the work that Americans didn't want to do. The truth was that they didn't want to do them or couldn't afford to do them for slave wages.

The left has stated repeatedly in the past that "We can't send them all back."
OH, hell yes, we can.
You can't get them all back to Mexico until you send
The First one,
Then, the second one.
Then, the third one.
Now, wasn't that easy to get going.
You Betcha, But, I don't know anyone that can count to fifteen million, maybe ten. Darn it.

They claim that these people are doing work so cheap that no American would do it but take the free health care, food stamps and all the other perks being given to the illegals by the American taxpayer and you have a whole new tax bracket that would entice many an American away from their disappearing unemployment check.

Evidently, you did not pay them enough.

Glenn Beck? The voice of reason? F*ck off!
He's an attention-seeking crybaby who wants to make a cheap buck whoring his fatuous conspiracy theories to other gullible inbreeders.

"Glenn Beck? The voice of reason? F*ck off!

You must have mommy issues. How about this
Al Gore? The voice of reason? (I seen no reason to use bad words to get a point across)
He's an attention-seeking crybaby who wants to make a cheap buck whoring his fictitious theories to other gullible moonbats.
Posted by: Watchman at November 29, 2009 4:49 AM
Eneils Bailey, I'll not argue about if we can or cannot "send them back" but I'll argue that that isn't the first step in solving the problem. If you came home one evening and found your water faucet broken and an inch of water on the floor, the first thing to do is not to grab a mop but rather to stop the flow.
Building an asinine fence only to turn a blind eye is not the answer. An executive order from the White House to enforce our laws would be an excellent start as well as an excellent place to start with our local representatives.

Dontcha just love how the loonie left squirm about Beck, the single conservative (not Republican) who has done the most this year to shine purifying light on the putrid festering statist-commie scum that infect the Obama WH and the Pelosi-Reid Congress.
Squirm, baby, squirm.
Posted by: pomalom at November 29, 2009 7:57 AM
pomalom, it would be interesting to here the equation of how you deduce that Ethethethetheth is of the "loonie (sic) left" simply because she/he called out Beck as an "attention-seeking crybaby who wants to make a cheap buck whoring his fatuous conspiracy theories to other gullible inbreeders".
Similar accusations, believe or not, have been hurled at Beck by the right, conservatives, Independents, Republicans, Democrats, and so on.
It just seems that there must be some purity test here that mandates any opposing views must be refuted with a charge of being a "lefty" (or more often a "liberal") and then end with an insult to that contributor,,,,only later to additionally charge that contributor of being of the "angry left".
It's almost as if I can foresee the response verbatim but just never know which Moonbattery loyalist will post it. Do you guys have training seminars? Workshops?
Posted by: andy42302 at November 29, 2009 8:17 AM
andy42302 as to your comments to pomalom may I say that F*ck off! is used by the "loonie (sic) left", "angry left".
Why because they have nothing else to say. And they have mommy issues. Just what I have seen. Could be wrong, am more wrong than right.
Posted by: Watchman at November 29, 2009 8:41 AM
Watchman, you follow the predictable procedure of this site. It's always the same and almost never varies. When the opposition (I) calls out a contributor (pomalom) for a nonsensical comment, that contributor (pomalom) remains silent while another contributor (you) injects utter nonsense.
Your assumption that using "fuk off" is only a "lefty" term defies logic and confirms that rational discussion with you isn't likely to happen. That's usually the objective of troll # 2(you).
That's not an "angry" response by the way but just an observance.
Posted by: andy42302 at November 29, 2009 9:09 AM
To Ethethethetheth
I am sorry. My wife said it was uncalled for of me to make fun of your mommy issue's. I apologize! I am truly sorry for bring that into this discussion. But she did say you should wash your mouth with soap.

Watchman, you could try scrolling down the "OMG! NFW!" thread for contributions by "Dave" for a view of your own side.
Posted by: Burt at November 29, 2009 9:25 AM
Well andy42302
Your assumption that using "fuk off" is only a "lefty" term defies logic and confirms that rational discussion with you isn't likely to happen.
It so so nice of you to try and end any logic discussion with me. I never said it was only used by "lefty" now did I? I just stated that that is what I have see, and I could be wrong. Or did you miss that part?
And I did not take it as an "angry" response.
As I have never comment here your observance, has been noted.
Thank you kind Sir

Burt
I have no clue what your talking about. But thanks!
And who is Dave?
Posted by: Watchman at November 29, 2009 9:43 AM
Watchman, your post at 8:41 expressed a view that profanity is an indication of a posting from the left. Visiting Dave's post on that other thread will indicate that at least one person on the right has the left beat hands down when it comes to profanity.
Posted by: Burt at November 29, 2009 9:47 AM
My point Watchman (it's always amazing how I constantly have to refer back to my point here, only for it to be ignored), was that any and all opposition here is automatically referred to as a "leftist" or "liberal". It's as if every single right leaning contributor is programmed to only one mindset, one allegiance, and one deep hatred. It's just questionable how so many different people can assume someone is a leftist because they are open for debate instead of being an agreeable lapdog.
There's no rationale in that concept nor is it sensible to deduce that people have left leaning ideologies because they use the "f" word. The reason I'm not getting a logical explanation as to how everyone here makes the same assumption is because other than everyone here being the same person, there is none. But like you, I could be wrong. But my hypothesis makes more sense than to assume that someone must be a liberal because they said a bad word.
Posted by: andy42302 at November 29, 2009 9:54 AM
Burt
I am sure both left and right use profanity. It was my observation that when it comes to a discussion the "left" usually uses it first. As I said wrong more than right. Now I am not saying I have not used the word. My point was to simply change the name and cause to show the silliness of the comment. Anyone can make the same comment and change the name and cause and make it look like a joke.
That was my point.

andy4230
Dude as for you point, this is the first time I have heard it. So I have not ignored it! I do not think of you as opposition, why should I? I never said being open for debate makes you a leftist nor did I call you an agreeable lapdog. And no you’re not a liberal because you use a bad word. But you could be, or not.
“There's no rationale in that concept nor is it sensible to deduce that people have left leaning ideologies because they use the "f" word.”
Again back to my original comment, change the name and cause
“There's no rationale in that concept nor is it sensible to deduce that people have right leaning ideologies because they use the "n" word.”
My point originally was not about the f word. It was change the name and cause. See the silly in it.

There's no rationale in not answering me, unless I hurt your feelings. If I did sorry dude. Not what I meant to do.
Peace
Posted by: Watchman at November 29, 2009 11:58 AM
Thanks Watchman, I rarely see genuine courtesy on this site.
I can see why people like Glenn Beck, but his style of communication is similar to brainwashing than actual discussion.
It seems dangerous that such a volatile and opinionated person is allowed to have such influence, which he uses simply to make money rather than because he actually cares about what he's saying (even though he acts like it).
Posted by: Ethethethetheth at November 29, 2009 12:29 PM
Ethethethetheth
I see your point of view, really I do.
"but his style of communication is similar to brainwashing than actual discussion."
Dude what is the MSM all about? Really look left look right they all do the same thing. My only point with your comment was, change the name and cause.
That was it, then we got all off on the f word.
While I do not agree with you. I respect your opinion. I just changed your words and now they just went off.
Dude
What up with that?
Peace and love

I didn't intend on not answering you Watchman but being a Sunday of a holiday weekend with my son home from The University of Louisville and my daughter home from University of Kentucky (needless to say I shy away from college basketball debates), I simply had other things to do. I'll try to catch up with you later if you'd like.
Posted by: andy42302 at November 29, 2009 1:39 PM
Andy42302,
You are absolutely right about the fence being the first step to controlling illegal aliens.
Built the fence first, then round up and ship out the illegal alien wetbacks.
You Betcha, Hey fool, you can't call them wetbacks any longer, they stay dry, they sneak through the holes in the fences, Darn it.
Posted by: Eneils Bailey at November 29, 2009 1:48 PM
Eneils, you obviously misread or misunderstood my statement on the fence. I said "Building an asinine fence only to turn a blind eye is not the answer". I never approved of the fence. All it would take is an executive order from Obama to enforce our laws and the problem would be solved. A fence accomplishes nothing if there's no interest in enforcing the laws.
Posted by: andy42302 at November 29, 2009 2:01 PM
Glad your son is home from The University of Louisville and your daughter is home from University of Kentucky.
My kid is serving in the US Air Force. He said he was sorry he could not see us this Thanksgiving.
I said it's cool...
Some people see things well, different.
Hope you and yours had a good time.

They can kill you but they will not eat you!

It appears to me, you all are picking leaves, rather than digging roots.
Our Republic is at stake, and we're very close to losing it. As Savage says, "We've elected the enemy." Marxism is the antithesis of freedom, and they're who are governing us now.
If our population doesn't wake up SOON, we're going into another Dark Age.
I urge you to GET PREPARED!
