I find it so disgusting how ignorant Obama is, repeating total myths and lies of supposed muslam contributions to society and technology. Their claim to be the "keepers of the knowlege" was due to their seige and ransacking of the great librarys of the world, the Chinese invented the compass, and it was the Brittish that invented navagation, with the cronometer and sextant, the Romans invented the arch, and it was the Greeks that invented trigonomitry ect. ect. Even the "mosque" that Obama was so humbled, and in awe of is actually a Roman Catholic cathedral that was confiscated from the infidels after they massacured the congregation,( if you look closely you can see the Christian murals on the ceiling)

Kevin, you are dead- on. Here's the Muslim strategy that accounts for many of their supposed "Contributions" to culture and society:
1. Find a country whose inhabitants have made great discoveries and contributions.
2. Invade, conquer, and subjugate that country.
3. Claim all the credit for the discoveries and contributions in question.
What especially got to me was his bloviating on Muslims' contribution to music.
News flash, Obama: Muslims HATE music. The Koran frequently condemns music, refers to musical instruments as "Devices of ignorance," and demonstrates particular hatred for female singers (i.e. one verse in the Koran claims that in the End Times, Allah will pour hot molten lead into the ears of people who listen to female singers). That's why in Muslim countries, music stores are frequently attacked and vandalized, and why recently in a Muslim nation, Taliban troops broke into several parked cars, ripped out their radios and broke them apart before yelling at their owners that they should never listen to music. That's why the closest thing they really have to music is the Muslim call to prayer Obama thinks so highly of, which in fact sounds like a couple of yowling alleycats.
