Army Doubles Down on Political Correctness That Enabled Hasan

Posted by Van Helsing at November 9, 2009 7:41 AM

The governmedia has been twisting itself into pretzels in attempts to justify siding with Muslim terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan against the memories of the 13 Americans he murdered. "Compassion fatigue" doesn't even begin to pass the laugh test, but our liberal rulers have an alternate explanation for Hasan's killing spree: he was harassed for being a Muslim — the implication being that mass murder is an appropriate response to teasing for those who belong to a politically sacred special interest group.

But was this terrorist lowlife even teased? Ralph Peters doubts it:

Let me kill the harassment myth right now: Political correctness rules in today's Army. We even protect our enemies these days. Had any soldier harassed Hasan because of his Islamist nuttiness, that soldier would've disappeared faster than a Franklin on a Times Square sidewalk.
Any snarky remarks directed toward Hasan — if there were any — would've come in reaction to his railing against our government, our military's mission and the monstrous injustice that, after grabbing an education in psychiatry worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from our military, he might have had to do his duty.
Far from being harassed himself, this creep was allowed to harass the soldiers he treated for stress disorders. According to colleagues, Hasan not only argued with his patients about our wars, but preached Islam to those under his care. (Just what troubled vets needed, no doubt.)
Prejudice? You bet. In this terrorist's favor. Nobody in Hasan's chain of command had the sense of duty to weed this pervert out. Why? Hasan would've accused them of discrimination. And the officer who brought charges against Hasan would've been the one whose career suffered.

Don't believe it? Here's proof:

General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, said on Sunday that he was concerned that speculation about the religious beliefs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian and wounding dozens of others in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, could "cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers."
"I've asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that," General Casey said in an interview on CNN's "State of the Union. "It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was — it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well."

That is, the same suicidal political correctness that prevented anyone from responding to the red flags Hasan had been flapping around in open sight will now be intensified, assuring that future Hasans can fester undisturbed like the pustules they are until it's time for them to pop.

On tips from Byron and Viking04.

AIDS doesn't kill the carrier. It just clears the way for an ordinary disease to do that, by destroying the defenses, the immune system.

If you don't see how this is relevant to the post at hand, you might be a liberal.

Or maybe you do and approve of the whole idea, in which case you're a full-fledged Marxist.

Hopefully the next time one of these islamic nutcases kill Americans their victims will be of a higher rank so that the idiot elites that infest the positions of power in our country will pay more attention to their real job, which is to defend the US people, and not to pander to political correctness. Unfortunately, only the ranks of the enlisted men have been made to pay the cost of the ineptness of the supposedly "superiors". Just like all of the idiots that want to deny everyone to bear arms, while they have personal bodyguards, high ranking military officers that do not put their own lives on the line are willing to sacrifice others to satisfy their liberal ideals.

What was this obvious Jihadist still doing in the military... and promoted to MAJOR?

Just when you thought the Obama era couldn't wreck military morale any more- now they have to worry about something like this.

These victims' families need to sue the Army for zillions and FORCE them to place innocent patriots' lives before some ludicrous fear of offending anyone... now that we can all see this PC crap -and pandering to insatiable malcontents- can KILL you.

And Obama's response shows you he's the very model of the problem... so don't expect any solutions from him- rather, he's another naive enabler- the best one they could ask for, a dream come true for these medievel savages.

Ladies and Gentleman: The MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE.

The lone RINO to vote for Pelosi-Care. Show him some "love" by calling and emailing him to let him know your feelings on the matter. Particuarly if you live in his district.

I got out of the service in the Clinton 90's because our senior officers became politicians not warriors. I see they've become entrenched

Political correctness killed those people.

Normally I'd make a snarky remark about this kind of idiocy, but this shit isn't even close to being funny anymore.

And I can't help but notice that these useful idiots freely speculate about every other improbable motivation this malignant degenerate may have had - except literalist Islam.

Posted by: forest at November 9, 2009 8:40 AM

He was promoted major because they needed a muslim for their quotas. Read the article, that low life scum, that worthless dog was reeking of entitlement. He got the army to pay for his whole education, harassed his patients and gave them his islamic bullshit but was deathly affraid to do his duty. A disgusting leech unworthy of wearing the uniform of the soldiers. I wish someone would have shot this animal, he'll get a minimum prison sentence and be praised as a muslim hero.

Science is always creating new and exciting ways of killing people. Weapons development is the primary driver of progress. This would happen with or without religion. Communists have been the worst of the mass exterminators and have no religion.

As Arnold in Terminator 2 said, "Its in your nature to destroy yourselves".

Posted by: Bad Robot! at November 9, 2009 9:24 AM

Where has our new Secretary of the Army been in all this? You know, my worthless RINO ex-congressman. In over his head? Shouldn't he have said something by now? What's his job, anyway?

"Weapons development is the primary driver of progress. This would happen with or without religion."

You mind backing up such a ridiculous statement with some facts.

"Communists have been the worst of the mass exterminators and have no religion."

The worst exterminators in the history of the world come from a Judeo-Christian background.

Posted by: Anonymous at November 9, 2009 9:48 AM

Anon,

Mao: Commie. Not from a Judeo-Christian background. not religious at all.

Stalin: Commie. An atheist who explicitly rejected his Judeo-Christian background

Pol Pot: Commie. Not from a Judeo-Christian background. Not religious.

The Jacobins: Proto-commie atheists.

Hitler: Born a Catholic, but became a distinctly a secular-collectivist who clearly placed the State ahead of any remnant of his Judeo-Christian background. Hitler will be the closest you can come with somehow linking a mega-murderer with a Christianity, and it's a damn weak link.

And yeah, technology tends to advance very quickly during war. WW-2 is a good example. It started with shoeleather and weapons that were developed mostly in WW-1 or earlier. It ended with fully motorized divisions, 50 ton tanks, jet aircraft, nuclear weapons, proximity fuses, plasma RPGs, widespread use of radar, use of computers etc.

I read on another blog that Hasan was trying to make contact with American al Qaeda and that the FBI knew about it.

I think our Intelligence agencies knew about him and wanted to see where he could lead them.

Too bad he went nuts before he could lead them to some domestic bad guys and/or moles. Maybe, just maybe, he got wind of the fact that the FBI was on to him and he decided to go out with a 'bang.'

Pure speculation, but my opinions generally make sense to me. :-)

Do you actually believe the claptrap you're trying to peddle or are just trying to muddy the waters?

Everybody with an IQ above room temperature knows that communism killed between 75 and 120 Million people in the past century.

And Hitler was a socialist. Look up the name of his political party some day. The one he named, himself. Personally.

The American left destroys everything...that's what they do.

Until a majority come to recognize fully the reality that liberals are sick, stupid, callous, arrogant and rotten to the core, and scrap this vermin away from decent people, we will always live inferior lives imposed upon us by these inferior people.

Listen, and understand. That (Liberal) is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Posted by: Fiberal at November 9, 2009 10:36 AM

science flies people to the moon, religion flies people into buildings.

Without excuse. You are without excuse.

Pascal said men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as they do out of the conviction of religion. He lived in the 17th century.

Diderot said mankind would never be free until the last king was strangled in the entrails of the last priest ("priest" clearly standing for religion). He lived in the 18th century.

Robert Green Ingersoll spared scarcely a word in recounting the atrocities driven by religion. He lived in the 19th century. He died in the late 19th century.

They have their excuse: They never got to see the 20th century, with all its millions of humans snuffed out, enslaved, tortured in gulags, exterminated like fleas, out of non-religious ideologies. In numbers far exceeding what religion had ever done. Devising ways of degrading mankind far worse than any religious doctrine you could possibly find.

But you--you and anyone who can call the 20th century "History"--you have none. No excuse.

Now, I'm not saying atheism leads to mass murder. It's not me saying (in parable) all vegetarians are like Hitler, who was a vegetarian; it's you saying (again in parable) meat-eating necessarily leads to atrocity, and I'm giving the vegetarian Hitler as refutation of that.

What brings humanity to the depth of such evil? We can theorize. Some say it's the aftermath of Original Sin (the sin nature), others say it's an evolutionary development, still others may have a different theory altogether. It's good to ask these questions and seek answers to them.

But it's not good to stick to answers that have been disproved. That, my anonymous friend, is what you just did with your assertion--disproved in the 20th century--that religion leads to human atrocity. No shame to admit you don't know what the right answer is, but definitely scandalous to cling to an answer that's been pronounced "WRONG!" by mountains and mountains of skulls (think Pol Pot and the Killing Fields) of evidence.

And if you're going to say Communism is a religion, well, that's a logical fallacy known as Moving The Goalposts, and it means you lost the argument.

What leads to atrocities?...easy.

The desire to subjugate.

Socialism, liberalism, religion and imperialism all function together to bring misery throughout history and today.
Only conservatism which posits freedom, and capitalism which requires civility, can mitigate these forces.

If this isnt the definition of treason, I dont know what is.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_fort_hood_shooting

"The personal Web site for a radical American imam living in Yemen who had contact with two 9/11 hijackers praised Hasan as a hero.

The posting Monday on the Web site for Anwar al Awlaki, who was a spiritual leader at two mosques where three 9/11 hijackers worshipped, said American Muslims who condemned the Fort Hood attack are hypocrites who have committed treason against their religion.

Awlaki said the only way a Muslim can justify serving in the U.S. military is if he intends to "follow in the footsteps of men like Nidal."

"Nidal Hassan is a hero," Awlaki said. "He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people.""

AMEN to that! Imagine the profits!

This must be the straw that breaks the camel's back (and how appropriate it's a camel!).

They're GUNNING U.S. MILITARY PERSONNEL DOWN. They're screaming ALLAH'U AKBAR. They're attending radical mosques. They're spouting jihadist rhetoric. They're Moslem.

Yet, we must draw no conclusions. We must take no steps. We must be "inclusive" and "diverse" and "tolerant". We are being asked to commit cultural, political and religious suicide...AND MUST SUPPLY THE MEANS AND METHODS TO THOSE THAT WOULD KILL US!

I will say it again: You can't negotiate with cancer. You can't be "inclusive" or "tolerant" with it. Not unless you want to die.

Simple enough, right?

"science flies people to the moon, religion flies people into buildings"

Just to further add to the thorough smackdown your clueless and ignorant comments have already recieved: you are almost certainly unaware that atheist suicide bombers are neither unheard of nor the exception to the rule. Korean and Vietnamese Communists made extensive use of suicide bombers during their respective wars, the Tamil Tigers had squads of "black tigers" carry out dozens of such attacks and there have been plenty of Marxist groups throughout Middle East troublespots that have done the same, such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Atheists (or at least members of secular anti-religious political groups) have, in fact, carried out a disproportionate number of suicide bombings throughout modern history.

Posted by: Smorfia48 at November 9, 2009 1:46 PM

Forget about single acts of terror, because those numbers pale in comparison to what Communism is capable of when organized and armed. Militantly atheistic Communists conducted ongoing campaigns of terror in which tens of thousands of religious leaders were rounded up and killed, based on the threat they posed to the iron will of the state - you know, because they dared to say that Communism wasn't the end-all source of power and wisdom.

Let us not forget John Birch, a peaceful Christian missionary in China who was purged by militant Maoists, for no reason other than his advocacy of religion.

The worst exterminators in the history of the world come from a Judeo-Christian background.

Uh huh. Ok. Tell me something. I hear from your kind a lot that religion is the cause of most of the wars fought in the world today.

The American Revolution
The War of 1812
The Mexican-American War
The Civil War
The Spanish-American War
World War I
World War II
The Korean War
The Vietnam War
The Gulf War
The Afghanistan and Iraq Wars

Which of those were motivated by religious rather than political differences? Even the last one doesn't count; only one side is using religion as its excuse.
