Funny but that wasn't funny. However, China by all appearances owns the USA like England owns Canada. When any US President goes to China on a "Mission Impossible" one must wonder. Naturally I might get some flack for this comment but so be it. Bush was a Socialist who went off to China and watched the 2008 Drummers and Obama is a Communist who went off to China to hand the car keys to the new owner and complete the deal.

The two heads of a very bad snake have been misdirecting the population and in the end, the population will suffer in a bitter Civil War II. Then I would imagine boatloads of Communist Chinese will land in the California ports (Costco owns them) and spread out over the country, etc.

It is clear from the 45 stated goals of Communism in the USA as found in The Naked Communist that one of those goals is to, "TAKE OVER ONE OR BOTH PARTIES" My YUAN is on BOTH! I suggest we clear house, hold ad hock elections and get out of all of these foreign entanglements the George Washington strongly discouraged! In essence, the division of Americans is COMPLETE and that leaves us ripe for the pikin! Divided along party lines, racial lines, religious lines, moral lines, ethical lines and family lines.

Even John King is asking questions about the pork buyout of Democrat votes to advance the health care bill in the Senate. King - of the many at CNN - is one whom I would guess can "see the light" of what's going on.

The economy is totally in the tank...and it's not even close to hitting bottom - no matter what the business analysts at the DNC television network tell you. Unemployment may have leveled off for this month, but it's bound to go UP during the Winter months, and especially after the Christmas (can we still say "Christmas"?) shopping season ends on Boxing Day, along with several other factors - like the dwindling value of the American dollar - that simply don't lead me to believe we're anywhere near out of the woods.

And the liberals in Congress think now would be a good time to spend a TRILLION more dollars that we don't have on another Socialist program?

At some point...and soon...the US will become a Banana Republic. We're looking down the throat of total bankruptcy. And still we encourage them to SPEND?

Liberals, of course, think it's all "free", just as Harry Reid told them. The "rich folks" and Wall Street will pay for it all with increased taxes...Not to mention a major cut in Medicare funding.

And just think; they're not even close to enacting the entire package of Socialism they fully intend to pass in just four years time.

First - I am not a Mod.

Submissions for content (Tips) are most often placed into the Open Threads (any topic) where Van or one of the ‘Helper Elves’ review them and possibly choose them to become a standalone thread.

Additionally, Van may be emailed directly with Tips, though, depending on his schedule, the Open Thread postings are often just as timely.

Please be sure to include links (URLs) to any specific published supporting information regarding the specific topic.

I think "White Guilt" consumed a portion of the electorate in the 2008 election.
It still does to a certain extent, but it is beginning to wane just a tad.

I had a good laugh at that last night. It got a little stupid/juvenile, but its heart was in the right place - a no-bullshit body-slam on the Spender In Chief. Maybe SNL is rediscovering that if you actually take on politics in a relevant, funny, aggressive way, it has more humor than if you just recycle old, stale hitjobs on Sarah Palin, Cheney, or Bush.

Even funnier was the Palin 2012 clip. At first, Mrs. Mega and I sat there and groaned, as in, OK got it, they hit Obama so now they have to do the obligatory stale, stupid Palin smear. But it was clever and subtle - I guess you could read it either way, but to me it actually was a butt pounding of the DNC and the fantasmogorical insanity of people with Palin Derangement Syndrome.

I congratulate SNL heartily for FINALLY moving on a little. Maybe their execs simply realized that you cannot have a relevant political comedy act if all you're willing to do is attack people who are retired.

So there were more than 500 signatures...
