You know what really grinds a progressive leftist's gears? When tea-party patriots assemble peaceably to petition their government for a redress of grievances. The progressive left is all like, "WTF! Those people are dangerous! They should be locked up for treason and sedition and other words we've heard used but don't really understand."
To the left, patriots are dangerous. Christians who seek to legally protect the definition of marriage are terrorists. But radical Muslims are just people from the neighborhood.

And when a handsome and witty conservative blogger posts a video like that, the standard progressive response is to holler "racist" and demand that his mother bring him another Hot Pocket. But the progressive leftist who fancies himself a pseudo-intellectual will protest, "But that's just one deranged guy on a street corner, per se. It's not fair to imply that he's part of a movement, per se."
The Detroit leader of a nationwide fundamentalist Islamic group was fatally shot during a series of FBI raids Wednesday afternoon.
The FBI arrested 10 people who have ties to the group called the Ummah, which translates to “the brotherhood.”
The group’s primary mission is to establish a separate sovereign Islamic state governed by Sunni law, according to FBI charging documents.
An FBI police dog was shot during the gunfire. The dog was transported via helicopter to an animal hospital in Madison Heights, but despite the rescue efforts, the dog died.
I feel sad about the dog, but at least no human beings were killed.
Is there any connection between this radical jihadist group and the man in the video above? Rhetorically and ideologically, they are joined at the hip.
The complaint says that the imam or leader of the group, Luqman Ameen Abdullah, repeatedly used rhetoric that urged Muslims to seize power with violence and establish a society where Muslims would rule over non-Muslims.
“America must fall,” Abdullah said, according to the complaint. At another point, he “told followers that they need to be with the Taliban, Hizballah, and with Sheikh Bin Laden.”
It's just plain effed up that if you peacefully protest that the USA should eschew European-style socialism and follow the Constitution, you're branded as a dangerous radical "evil-monger." But if you build bombs and kill people with the goal of overthrowing the Constitutional Government and establishing a Communist state, you get to be a tenured professor at the University of Illinois.

This must have been infront of the local terrorist training center(mosque,aclu,DNC office) If this douche was yelling that sh$# in the America I live in it would have looked more like a good old fashioned bar brawl. I would have gotten me a couple of them scalps fo sho!

I feel sorry for the dog, there is more honor and service in its tail than in all of that mosque's crowd. Rest well pooch, you've done a great service for the country. The more the left whitewashes islamic threats like this, the more we will hear of this. They are emboldened by Britain, they will encroach themselves to put their barbaric law within years, you'll see. At least here we will put on a fight if we start seeing suicide bombing and mosques will burn to the ground. We'll see the liberals report ceaselessly about religious persecution and how white people are horrible monsters for defending their values.

The left wing has a very short memory, although that's no revelation to many on here. They forget that the First Coming, Franklin Roosevelt, allowed the internment of thousands of Japanese during WWII, even though there was no proof any were involved in treason or seditious acts. That was racism, born of fear and ignorance.
Fast forward 60 years and we have a layer of society that is hell-bent to undermine and destroy the US, and we accord them every right under the Constitution, even though this time we know what they're end game is all about.
Under the current administration, fanatical Muslims will not be held in camps, because charging someone with treason or sedition is so un-PC, especially when that person is not a native born American. It makes many people, even some conservatives, queasy when the suggestion is made that to put a stop to the eventual destruction of the US is to start locking up and deporting members of these radical groups. Our Constitution won't suffer long term damage if we do, because the Constitution was never meant to be a suicide pact. The US, its people and governments, will suffer immeasurably if these radical turds are allowed to use the Constitution to beat us over the head and destroy us.
The FBI should be commanded to form an undercover anti-terrorist section that will have powers to infiltrate and undermine these groups, with no regard to their Constitutional rights. I know that sounds terrible, but the alternative is, to me, unthinkable. I don't want to live under Sharia law, I don't want my kids to live under Sharia law or have any part of the US under the thumb of Sharia law. This is a war and must be treated as one, and that means identifying the enemy and declaring them as enemy combatants, with no Constitutional protections.

I couldn't last very far into that video but what was clear was this guy was shouting and everyone in the background was walking by and not giving him the time of day. Just one more ranting street preacher.

Yeah, I read about this story yesterday. My first thought was "good riddance." One less terrorist-sponsoring dirtbag wasting oxygen.

I'm wondering what part of the country the group was planning to put this Sunni state in. Right there in Michigan? Geesh, I'd almost say they can have it. What a terrible place to live these days.

Aren't there already like 57 countries where this is the case? Isn't that enough? Why do these people have to come over here and start up that crap in the heart of a Christian, freedom-loving country?
The worst part is that these people were not recent immigrants from Libya or something. I think all of them were born here - raised among our culture of tolerance and free expression. The very freedom they want to deny to everyone else.
Stories like this really burn my toast. Except for the "terrorist scumbag gets shot by FBI" part. I liked that part.
