Why Moonbats Hate Sarah Palin
Posted by Van Helsing at October 1, 2009 9:23 PM
After Saracuda resigned as Governor of Alaska, Bill Whittle summed up why liberal elitists have felt compelled to destroy her by any means low enough to enter their minds. His analysis becomes more relevant with every passing day, as Obamunism reveals the stakes we're playing for and the nature of our opponents.
On a tip from Lyle.

EXCELLENT video Van! Bravo. Well said. This guy says it all. The elitists would like us to shut the hell up and keep our head down.
Not doing it.
Sarah - you rock my dear.

Not hate, really, I'm sure the good lady is a moral person and a good family woman. But my, is she an idiot. Have you listened to her speak? She can barely string a sentence together. If she presented one of her speeches in my class I would barely give the lady a C, and that's by the standard of 9 year olds.
Bonus negative points for being a proponent of abstinence-only with an unwed teenage daughter.

Posted by: TonyD95B at October 1, 2009 11:26 PM
Tony, to liberals it only matters if you speak well - like Obama - whether you're competent or not doesn't really matter to them - like Obama.

They allow people like you to have them.
Posted by: hey you guys at October 1, 2009 11:34 PM
SK, she could be direct and simply spoken. Heck, that would help her "common man" approach. I wouldn't mind that.
However, her incoherent babbling means she's either too dumb to realize this, or she's too dumb to speak that way.
Posted by: hey you guys at October 1, 2009 11:38 PM
Again, liberals screech and wail when a conservative falls short of their ethics and morals.
Not admitting to the fact that the majority of conservatives actually have a moral and ethical code - and try to keep it - unlike the Left (who rally around child rapists like Polanski as if Polanski were some sort of hero.
And anyway, as the staunch, moral, liberal icon Whoopi Goldberg says, its not like it was "rape-rape".

That a person is not an eloquent speaker does not necessarily mean that they're not intelligent or well educated.
Obama speaks well - when his teleprompter is near, at least - but that doesn't mean that he is intelligent, well educated or even well intentioned. Just that he is a smooth talker and has good handlers and script writers.
His performance up to now has been abysmal and will likely wind up a tie with Jimmy Carter.

Ethics don't enter into it, she's a stone idiot. She a stiff, bereft of mind, she thinks in pieces. If she wasn't propped up by the writers, she'd be pushing 5th grad literacy. She is an ex-demagogue!

I also love how if a liberal or groups of liberals are caught in a scam it's no big deal, hardly a pattern. However, if any conservative is caught up in wrongdoing it is INDICITIVE of a all conservatives being rotten to the core. If one does it, they all do it.
I wonder how well Obama would handle an 'ambush' interview. Heck, I just wonder how he'd answer the question as to how one man could find that many scumbags to fill his administration without leaving his regular social circle?

Sarah Palin is dumb as a doorknob. That is obvious to any thinking person. That is why she is disliked. She makes no sense. None. And it is more than apparent that every tims she opens her mouth she has no idea at all what she is talking about. A child can see this.
The fact that you people seem to derive some meaning from her mindless babble is further proof that you are not qualified to comment on public affairs.
But then again, you are the same people who belive that there is any degree of coherency in a guy like Glenn Beck. So your brains are all suspect.

I think this is a more accurate analysis of the Left's Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome:
Why The Left Hates Sarah Palin
Why Feminists Hate Sarah Palin
To wit:
She has shown you for the frauds that you are, for Pandora's box has been opened and you will never be able to close it.
Posted by: SK at October 2, 2009 2:02 AM
You know what, fine. I'm proud of how successful the lady is. She obviously does a fine job organizing support, which is a key attribute of a successful politician. A lot of women can't manage to have a successful high-powered career and a family at the same time, and her ability to do so is impressive.
She's still an incomprehensible idiot. As you have so aptly noted many times in this blog, that is no bar to political success.
Posted by: hey you guys at October 2, 2009 2:40 AM
hyg,
You seem to have a very fluid definition of "idiot." In fact, I don't think you really know what "idiot" means. Do you have an IQ score on Palin? Her grades in school? Copies of work she's done demonstrating below-average intelligence? No? Get back to us when you do.
She's not a good public speaker, but (as has already been pointed out), intelligence and skill at public speaking are not linked. Jefferson was a notoriously bad speaker. Does that mean HE was an idiot? Ever heard Obama speak without a teleprompter? "Ummm uh um uh..." He's lost without his script. Does that mean that he is an idiot?
Posted by: Evil Otto at October 2, 2009 3:48 AM
Hey "hey you guys"- care to elaborate, but with facts this time?
WHO told you Palin was "stupid"? Tina Fey? Kieth Olberman? Katey Couric, with her ludicrous doctored interview tapes?
Or perhaps you're just another from Plouffe's Troll Patrol...?
Back in reality, Alaska was a pretty corrupt system until Palin stepped in. Her reforms took on entrenched politicians (inc. Republicans), a mafioso-style union boss, and Big Oil.
Wouldn’t it have been nice if Obama had been principled and brave enough to confront the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine? Or shady political operators like Tony Rezko? Racist preachers? Instead of doing business with every last one of them?
IMO people could end up voting for the Gipper-in-Heels in droves- they’ll surely being looking for some such antidote to the Bolshevik con-artist who’s taking a wrecking-ball to this society now.
Small wonder then that the far-left moonbats like you are out to destroy her.
Go get em ‘Cuda- you're one tough lady... and there's a lot of us behind you.

" But my, is she an idiot."
Yeah, I know! She thinks Austrian's a language! And America has 57 states! And that American troops liberated Auchwitz. And she thought 25 DVDs would make an appropriate diplomatic gift! Hahahahaha!!!
At least I think that was Palin.
"Have you listened to her speak? She can barely string a sentence together."
Being a bad public speaker makes you an idiot? Oh really?

That monologue was one of the finest analyses of Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome I've ever seen, and Whittle's ascerbic wit is unparalleled. More like him, please!
As for hyg and wingnut's "concern" regarding Palin's lack of intellect, it is noted and dismissed.
The masses like Palin because she expresses what she needs to express--that she is one of them and she understands and shares their concerns. Any technical glitches in her speeches merely confirm what they like most about her, that she's not "one of them", IOW, a professional politician.
Posted by: Judith M. at October 2, 2009 5:01 AM
Who said, "Uh, ya know, take a kid with, uh, you know, asthma, and give him a err err uh, breathalizer...."
Just cause hyg says she's stupid doesn't make it so. I happen to think she's smart, tough, and can get things done. She also has a moral core that she doesn't have to rehearse to demonstrate.
That pregnant teenage daughter bit is pretty old, don't you think? I have a stepdaughter who is an unwed new mother. Does that make me some kind of degenerate? I'm just glad she chose life.
Posted by: Karin at October 2, 2009 5:02 AM
And that's one of the many things I like about Sarah Palin - that she's NOT a professional politician in the ususl sense of the expression. She says what she means and means what she says. She does the right thing for the right reason. She IS plain spoken. When I listen to her I hear my own beliefs, values and desires. She's like me. But with energy. And courage. Only better. God bless ya, Sarah, and go get 'em.
Posted by: LouieLouie at October 2, 2009 5:38 AM
Amen, Karin. I, too, find it disgusting the way these leftists encourage teenage girls to have sex out of wedlock, but if one gets pregnant, as is so often the case even with "comprehensive sex education", they act like the only immoral choice at that point is to have the baby when, in fact, it is the only moral choice once conception has already occurred.

Palin is at least twice as smart, competent, and qualified for office as Obama is.
A few of the real reasons liberals hate her:
1. Their twisted minds are wired to automatically hate with a passion any woman or minority member who is an outspoken conservative.
2. Liberal minds are also wired to automatically hate all outspoken Christians.
3. The hate started largely because the announcement of her as McCain's VP pick was on the same day as Obama's big speech on the final day of the DNC. The story of her appointment gained a LOT more media attention that Obama's long- winded speech, so liberals are resentful that she stole Obama's thunder that day.
4. They hate the fact that she didn't abort Trig when she learned that he would be born with a disability.
Posted by: Adam at October 2, 2009 6:39 AM
Really great speech by Whittle.
No question that it requires uncompromising and aggressive action to take government back from the vicious liberal political machine.
Most importantly, Republicans need to realize that progress cannot be gained by working with liberals; liberals embrace corruption as a working style, will always demand appeasement and will never bargain in good faith.
John McCain was, is and always will be an appeaser. He attempted to use appeasement and "compromise" (surrender) as a means to the presidency.
McCain disabled Palin at the outset because liberals went into rabid convulsions over her.
McCain has long been an appeaser, to the point that has lost any real sense of the Constitution he once defended as a soldier. McCain-Feingold was a bill that illustrated the very deep misunderstanding of the Constitution held by McCain.
John McCain should be a model from which the Republicans now learn how not to behave in politics.
McCain and the RNC should have defended Palin at every point of contention up to and including sending pro bono attorneys to Alaska to defend against the libelous "corruption" suits brought against her by liberals.
However...McCain, Lindsey Graham and the host of RINOs we tolerate will always betray conservatism, even as they are spit upon by liberals.
What it comes to, as Whittle points out, is that liberals simply do not have a sense of higher ethics or integrity. (A condition very likely to have a genetic predisposition).
Republicans that try and work with liberals will only gain at best compromise to the point of inefficacy, and at worse, BO.
Posted by: Fiberal at October 2, 2009 6:42 AM
I see the Palin and Beck trashers are at it again.
It just fries their ass that Palin is doing so well. 7 million dollars for a book advance, don't sound too shabby to me.
She's smart, a hottie, with a hot husband, good looking family, pro-life, gun-toting, God fearing woman.
When it comes to morals and integrity Sarah has more integrity in her little finger than the left has in their entire body.
Yeah, my type of lady.
Posted by: SurferChick at October 2, 2009 7:31 AM
Mr. Whittle, may I suggest that we take the portion of your monologue that starts at 7:28 and ends at 9:59 and play it as a continuous loop in a locked room where Michael Steele, Todd Harris, Stuart K. Spencer, John McCain and all the other idiot RINOs who have emasculated the party of Lincoln are forced to listen to it.
While the entire video was five star all the way, it's that portion which succinctly explains why the Republicans have become a party in disarray. Real Republicans are conservative, hard working tax-paying people who do NOT have the values of Democrats. We want another Reagan and we saw in Mrs. Palin just what we wanted. I'm no strategist either, but her grand slam speech at the Convention sucked all of the oxygen out of the Annointed One's campaign for days afterward. Even the mainstream media was left speechless; they had no idea how to handle her for days until the left-wing blogs started pummeling her.
Michael Steele and his cadre of weak-minded strategists best get on the train or be run over by it. The 2010 elections will be the warning shot. Pay attention, GOP leaders.

A person like Sarah Palin who quits her job serving the people of her state to sell a book about herself thus raking in millions for herself and her dysfunctional family doesn't really deserve admiration.
Palin will end up a talk show host. Another job she is unqualified for.

Folks who claim that Sarah Palin is "dumb as a doorknob" and/or stupid sound an awful lot like the folks that say that Sylvester Stallone is dumb. "Just listen to him talk! It's obvious that he's not much of a thinker...."
Arsenio Hall, on this early-90s late-night TV talk show, addressed those who thought such things about Stallone. Despite a decade-and-a-half Hollywood career marked by numerous box-office successes (the Rocky and Rambo series, both of which he wrote all the screenplays for; Victory; Tango and Cash), Stallone was often dismissed by critics and otherwise intelligent people as "dumb" and/or "stupid". A guest of Hall's one evening mentioned that he had met Stallone recently and was surprised at how smart he was, to which Arsenio replied:
"A lot of people think Stallone is unintelligent or stupid, but let me tell you, that man has got some serious bank [millions of dollars], and you don't get that kind of bank by being stupid...."
Likewise with Mrs. Palin. She was elected as mayor of her town twice, and then governor of her state twice - in one of the most male-dominated states in the country. Her approval rating in Alaska has never, to my knowledge, dipped below 50%.
I'm sorry, Palin haters, but no one accomplishes that be being either unintelligent and/or stupid. If you disagree with her politics, fine. If you think her a poor communicator or politician, fine. However, to assert that she's unintelligent is not a credible charge.

Simply put, I voted for Palin, not for John. If not for Palin, I wouldn't have voted at all.

"dumb as a doorknob"?
You want to talk about dumb?
Take a look at this degenerating country under your "genius" BO and the rest of the idiots in congress. Under what criteria are you evaluating Palin's intelligence? As if you were qualified.
You want to talk about dumb?
Take a look at what BO uses for a vice-president...you liberals really need to think carefully about putting a representative like that against Palin on a 1:1 political IQ test.
And you want to talk about dumb?
Liberals always call people dumb---its meaningless. That's what your media propagandists and your comedy gods on TV call all conservatives. Newt Gingrich was "dumb". Liberals consistently called Reagan dumb. Called Bush dumb. And by any substantial measure, they were more progressive, more organized, more successful and a heckofa lot more dignified than any democratic president since JFK.
If William F. Buckley were around, he'd be "dumb" by the liberal late-night talk show standards.
You want to talk about dumb?
Show some initiative and change your "dumb as a doorknob" tactic once in a while.

"She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone. She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else. Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom." ―an anonymous McCain adviser complaining to CNN about Palin going off-script
"A whack job." ―a top McCain adviser describing Palin, one-upping the McCain adviser who called her a "diva"
"She's not prepared to be governor. How can she be prepared to be vice president or president? Look at what she's done to this state. What would she do to the nation?" ―Alaska State Senate President Lyda Green, who is a Republican
"I'm trying to remember if I've met her before. I'm sure I must have, What is she, the Governor of Guam? This woman is being put into a position she is not even remotely prepared for...she hasn't spent one day on the national level. nHere's where the Palin haters blow it. If they said they disagreed with her politics; that her ideas were misguided, etc., they might win converts. But when they do those silly attacks like "dumb as a doorknob," when one obviously doesn't accomplish what she has by having a low IQ, they show that their real problem with her is fear. Obviously, if they thought she was dumb, they would not bother to write, as she would be politcally irrelevant. They show their hand (and their paranoia and panic) by making childish and silly attacks instead of specifically citing views of hers that they think are wrong for the country.
That being said, I hope they continue. When they stop, we'll know they no longer consider her a serious threat.

Bill Whittle's Commentary about Sarah Palin on PJTV is absolutely Stellar...and Totally Right ON!!
Sarah Palin is a real breath of fresh air to all Real Americans.
A Real American doe not hide behind a fake pseudonym and anonymously make snide, scoffing, and deleterious comments about anyone or anything. A Real American "stands up" and "stands for" what is right, pure, good, and just. A Real American does not sell his or her country down the River of Socialism. A Real American always does the Right Thing because it IS RIGHT. A Real American does not hide being use a hidden political or social agenda and/or other ulterior motives.
Sarah Palin is indeed a REAL AMERICAN! I am proud of her. She represents the Real Americans of our Once Great Nation, and what is right, pure, good, and just. She represents the Traditional Family and Other Values of the Founders of Our Nation. Unless there are many more who are like her in the US and State Political Arenas, our Once Great Nation will continue to go down the tubes. With the current leadership, the US is being led down to the river by grinning Pied Piper of Hamlin.
