House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says there’s no reason for Rep. Alan Grayson to apologize for his “Die quickly” remark, since Republicans have made statements just as outrageous as his.
“If anybody’s going apologize, everybody should apologize,” Pelosi told reporters at her weekly press conference. “We are holding Democrats to a higher standard than their own members.”
Nancy's got some history with being a two-faced lying witch. When it was politically convenient, she was all for the war in Afghanistan, using it as a cudgel to bash Bush, claiming that Afghanistan was the real war, and Iraq was a distraction. But now that she can't use it to bash, Bush, the Afghan war doesn't turn out to be so important after all.
And remember her promise of the most transparent, ethical Congress in history. Try not to laugh so hard, Mr. Rangel and Mr. Murtha. You might drop your bags of money.

If she's holding Dems to a higher standard shouldn't they apologize even if Reps don't?

This post would have been much more effective if you had used a photo shopped picture of the distinguished gentle lady from California. I appreciate sarcasm and parody so please use more when presenting these distinguished and learned lead er err....couch, hack.... spit..... ok I can't take it any more.
