The Debate Is Over

Posted by Van Helsing at October 11, 2009 9:04 PM

As far as the global warming hoax is concerned, the debate was over before it ever began. When a grown-up dares to challenge the Goracle's profitable lies, his microphone gets cut:

The nine "significant errors" — i.e., lies — Phelim McAleer refers to have been discussed earlier. The Science & Public Policy Institute dug a little deeper and found 35 lies.

No wonder the high-living Goracle makes no serious attempt to reduce his gargantuan carbon footprint, even while demanding that we submit to government-imposed poverty to save man-eating polar bears that unfortunately are anything but endangered.

We set a new record for the lowest high temperature today. The old record was 53°. The new record… 42°!! We NEED some global warming!

This McAleer guy is smart about climate issues, but he is urging environmental journalists to treat the issue with more skepticism, to investigate like they do with political issues and corporations.

Hmm. I don't think you need me to tell you what's wrong with political and business journalism.

Alfonso Goracle thought it was safe to field a few questions. After all, this was supposed to be a friendly crowd. After getting his nose bloodied on this one, you can bet His people will do a better job screening the questioners, or forgo the q&a all together.

If "Big Environment" were to explain where the money was coming from and where it was going, the entire "scheme" would unravel and would be exposed for the fraud that it really is. The questions that should be answered will never be answered and the questions that should be asked will never be asked, so as long as the politicians and cheerleaders are prancing hand-in-hand merrily about.

"Well, Bill...I thunk we shaould save tha trees..."

The little talking-to the guy got in the hall afterward was a bit much. "It's not a one-on-one interview, you got as much as you were going to get...." arrogant snot. "Why couldnna Gore just answar de questooon?" Why indeed, laddie.

Calling him "Vice President Gore" was too much. He isn't veep anymore and hasn't been since January of 2001. Just plain "Mr Gore" would have been fine.

I could call him a few other things, but never mind. I'm just grateful The Goreacle's lawyers weren't successful in stealing the 2000 presidential election.

This is just more proof that The Climate is indeed in grave danger.....

.....the Intellectual Climate, that is.

If the Climate Change Fascists are allowed to do what they are trying to do, it will result in death (particularly in the Third / developing world), poverty, stunted economic growth, a distorted intellectual / scientific / political landscape, and in the long run it will actually hurt the environment.

The political Left owns this, and owns full responsibility for the evil that can come from it, and for the evil that is behind it.

The sad thing about this is that Gore is so convinced of his own lies it's very difficult to detect dissembling in his responses, and his "sincerity" is what people who are inclined to believe this nonsense will be looking at and absorbing.

They featured this on F&F this morning. Just the very act of cutting off a mic speaks a million words. More than any "soaring rhetoric" can ever do.

If there ever was a demonstration of left wing vacuousness, this was it.

The fact that Al Gore "rarely" takes questions should raise questions itself.

When all the GW data is government-sponsored, dissent comes up short-handed.

The opposition has little to no data of their own by comparison. Moreover, Al Gore and his sycophants can't even tolerate dissent on the basis of fair critique. You don't need to be a genius to imagine why GW research funding is so one-sided.

BTW, a scholar would have intervened to allow someone asking a fair question to continue.
Gore is just a bloated egoist who forgot that he can't answer questions.

And what's with this confrontation by one of the organizers after the fact?
What was his point? He was looking for a fight?

Typical for a liberal.
Until you take your coat off.

Man made globull warming is a grossly exagerated hoax. I hope this fad wears off soon.

Would MMGW believers feel better if the data showed that the Earth's temperature appeared to be dropping rapidly?

Seriously, now. Would the prospect of falling sea levels and permanent glaciers advancing down over Canada, Scandinavia and Siberia make them feel better?

Anyone? Anyone care to answer the question?
