You guys are making too much of this whole issue. That young lady was old enough to consent and she had sex with Polanski. You will stoop to anything you can to try and smear liberals.

First, 13 is NOT old enough to consent.
Second, even if she had been old enough to consent, Polanski drugged her, which would have taken away her ability to provide a valid consent.
Third, she didn't consent according to her testimony, as she continually told him to "get away".
As you liberals always say when it's not a liberal doing the raping, "no means no."

In church today, my pastor brought the Polanski business up. He talked about how angry he was over hearing people defend Polanski by saying things like, "Sure, it was wrong, but it was 30 years ago, and besides, he's such a great director!", as part of a sermon on the importance of Christians being willing to stand up for morality in an increasingly immoral culture.
