Social Justice Applied to Graffiti Vandalism

Los Angeles is applying social justice to the graffiti that defaces the city. Instead of punishing the punks who spray-paint a coating of psychosis over every available surface, bureaucrats are fining the property owners.
Under an ordinance that was just unanimously approved by the City Council, all new buildings including private homes must be covered in an anti-graffiti coating to a height of at least nine feet. Because the coating discolors surfaces and wears off, property owners can opt out — but only if they agree to pay a $550 fine for any graffiti they fail to remove within seven days of it being applied, or within 72 hours of being notified by bureaucrats.
The genius of the plan lies in how much easier it is to catch the victims of vandalism than the perpetrators. Coming next: a fine for getting robbed.

We need the table of fines for victims. What's the fine for getting raped? How about the victim of an earthquake?
It's from the Left Coast so why is anyone surprised? Just think, Nazi Pelosi, Dingy Harry, and his Imperial Highness Barry want us to all share in this wonderful culture. I'm glad I'm retiring elsewhere.

They've been doing this in Pittsburgh, PA for decades. It tends to discourage legitimate businesses from opening in certain areas of the city. Which exacerbates all of the other social and economic problems in those areas. Then the leaders scratch their collective heads about how to attract new businesses to town.

Check that law: are friends of liberal interests, e.g., Democrat party headquarters, Planned Parenthood, ACORN offices, etc., exempt from paying fines? Inquiring minds...

Back on track: The way to stop the putos from "tagging" your walls is to paint your own little message. This is psycology folks. they are marking their territory by writing their name.

Take your spray can and write "likes boys" or "likes it folsom style" under what they wrote. Think up your own heinous saying. That way when the little homies are laughing at baby monk for liking it in the rump, they wont mark your fence. carry a stick,that goes bang.

They have been doing this here in the shadow of the Biden mansion for years. New Castle County, DE will fine you if you don't remove the graffiti almost instantly.
This is typical Moonbat behavior - criminalize everything, and blame the victim......unless, of course, you're a "victim of social injustice" or some such nonsense - then you get a pass.

czuch has the right idea. It's all about recognition for graffitos. I carry a marker at school, and write "TOY" right on top of any graffiti I find on campus. (It's an old 70's thing from NYC.) I have yet to see any graffiti return to those spots after the school maintenance crews paint over it.

QUALITY I really like this, reminds me of a graffiti artist I saw at www.hire-a-graffiti-artist.co.uk there are loads of graffiti artists on that site and very good to.
