Separated at Birth?

Of course, Nixon was nowhere near as corrupt as Rangel, who is hardly likely to resign for the good of the country. But being a Republican, Tricky Dick had much higher standards to fall short of. Both came to personify government malfeasance.

Compliments of Henry.

This is an insult to Nixon.

Nixon didn't propose bringing back conscription where there was none, for one thing. Rangel has, then turned around and voted against his own bill.

Nixon's only real mistake was in not blowing the whistle and throwing the Watergate bums to the wolves. I had hoped the Republican Party learned an important lesson from that debacle - the American people have no patience for cover-ups.
