Sarkozy to Obama: You Pathetic Naïf
Posted by The MaryHunter at October 26, 2009 2:24 AM
French President Sarkozy is loosing his fondness for President and Leader of the Free World B. Hussein Obama. Fox says that Reuters says that Sarkozy is beginning to dismiss the U.S. out of hand:
Didier Billion of the Institute of International & Strategic Relations says: "Sarkozy has clearly been thrown off course in his relations with America." Another foreign affairs expert, Bruno Tertrais from the Foundation for Strategic Research, adds: "There is an annoyance about what the French see as naivety in the Obama administration."
One major sticking point has been President Obama's softer stance on Iran, while President Sarkozy prefers a more hawkish approach. Sarkozy said last month: "I support America's outstretched hand. But what has the international community gained from these offers of dialogue? Nothing but more enriched uranium and centrifuges."
It's a sorry day when even the French have more international balls than America.

Comments
This has become a theme with Obama's foreign policy. Alienate our allies and suck up to our enemies in exchange for...nothing.
We are deeply screwed.

Although I agree with Sarkozy. European countries have always labeled us as bullies. But reality is that they agree with what we do and would rather the US risk their people to do what is right and at the same time they make it look like they are against us. This way the terrorists will focus on us. Now that we have a touchy-feely pres. and Iran is a real threat to Europe, France can't risk playing this game.

Check. Europe has seen how the American media, acedemics and polititions have set up a "second front" for the world's enemies since the sixtys and now realise that they will have to build up their own military forces instead of depending on a strong US.
